Archbishop Gądecki: they are trying to push through changes in doctrine
Changes proposed in discipline, by some Synodal fathers regarding communion for the divorced represent in these assumptions the attempt to smuggle changes into the very doctrine of the Church. This is addressed by Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki who is participating in the Synod of the Family.
"Practically all are repeating that there will be no doctrinal change, but this is understood in different ways. For if you add to this first group that disciplinary changes are possible, this means, in practice, that doctrinal stability is being nullified. In my opinion one cannot speak of the separation of the practice of the Church from her doctrine, from her teachings. The two are inseparable. I have the impression that many supporters of this modernity, are in fact thinking about changing doctrine, yet calling it a change in Church discipline. It is a disturbing point in these discussions, for it is strongly emphasized: "we accept the entire doctrine", but there immediately follows a suggestion that doctrine has nothing to do with it. This is greatly worrying me, for one and the other are saying that they want no change in doctrine. From where then, are arising these practices opposed to doctrine?
"Will this Pope re-write controversial Church doctrines? No. But that isn't how doctrine changes. Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge such that particularly doctrinal formulations no longer mediate the saving message of God's transforming love. Doctrine changes when the Church has leaders and teachers who are not afraid to take note of new contexts and emerging insights. It changes when the Church has pastors who do what Francis has been insisting: leave the securities of your chanceries, of your rectories, of your safe places, of your episcopal residences go set aside the small minded rules that often keep you locked up and shielded from the world." Thomas J. Rosica quoting numerous times without accreditation to Richard Gaillardetz in the National Catholic Reporter.
To Vox Cantoris, I can't tell if you are criticizing or congratulating this error.
God has told us what He wants of us through Holy Scripture. We need look no further to see what it is He intends for mankind, be it 1st century man or contemporary. We did not formerly ascribe to the Protestant philosophy that one can see in huge banners across their churches "Do not put a period where God has put a comma", in other words, "We will interpret the new "revelation" that God is providing to us about contemporary man and let you know what it is". All lies and convenient manipulations, leading to the same place old lies and heresies lead, Hell.
It is time, this week, for faithful Cardinals to speak boldly. We are growing fatigued of subtlety and murmuring among the Cardinals. If they leave this diabolical Synod without blatantly, openly, and boldly calling out the heretics and heresies, they have failed in the vows they took at ordination. God give them the fortitude, the courage, the zeal, to state outright that these men are promoting evil, and the Holy Catholic Church must NOT follow them down the path to Hell.
The Vox posted that quotation by Fr. Thomas Rosica (originally written by Richard Gaillardetz) because it is very valuable regarding those who claim they are changing pastoral practice without changing doctrine. Of course, it is impossible; a dream, a fantasy. I would recommend you explore the blog Vox Cantoris for further, in depth analysis of the crisis that is gripping the Church.
I WAS SCHOCKED TO DISCOVER VIA VOX CANTORIS ,A SMILING ARCHBISHOP CUPICH SAYING ADULTEROUS PATERSHIPS.
SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECEIVE HOLY COMMUNION....I GASPED...WHAT!!!AGAIN RIGHT AFTER THE SUBJECT IN SYNOD WAS
ADDRESSED. I REPLYED SAYING" DON't BRING EVIL INTO OUR CATHOLIC CHURCH. WE ( the people) KNOW BETTER THAN THAT.
I THEN ADDED " God Help Them"WHO DO THESE ARCHBISHOPS,CARDINALS,GAY PRIEST THINK THEY ARE COMING OUT WITH SUCH BOLD STATEMENTS WITH NO REGARD FOR THIER APPROACH, NOT ONLY ON POPE FRANCIS , BUT, THE WHOLE OF THE CHURCH " THE PEOPLE" " THE PEOPLE WHO WILL SAVE OUR CATHOLIC CHURCH. ARCHBISHOP CUPICH, I AGREE WITH

YOU NEED PRAYERS, ALSO " GOD HELP YOU SHOULD YOU CONTINUE TO CONFUSE OUR YOUNG PEOPLE...THINK ABOUT THAT.
Rosica perhaps does not follow his own rules? Sure, he's accomplished the casting off of petty, rigid rules, doctrine, and all that old-fashioned non-inclusive stuff. But what about getting out of his "safe home and comfort zones"? Seems to me this man just bounces in a never-ending triangle from his plush rectory, to his plush Rome apartment, to dark corners of sycophantic reporters.
