Pope Francis: A schism is coming and only you can stop it!

"There were bishops at the Synod who wished to erase the truth"
Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki, quoted in Polonia Christiana, Oct, 30th, 2014

Gerhard Cardinal Muller
There are reports coming from Poland that there is going to be very, very serious resistance to any attempt to  overturn doctrine, under the pretext of changing pastoral practice, but "officially" leaving doctrine untouched. 2015 may well be a year of official schism. In fact, recently, a number of leading churchmen in Germany have signaled as much. Outside of Poland a number of Cardinals have already passed judgment on this heterodox approach. Gerhard Cardinal Muller has denounced it as a "serious Christological heresy". There you have it: it is heresy! As such, those promoting it are, according to Canon Law, "material heretics".

Most people ignored the very serious statements coming from Poland during and following the extraordinary Synod of the Family held last October, where the Polish bishops denounced the mid-term relatio as contrary to the teachings of the Church, contrary to the Magisterium of St. Pope John Paul II. Most people continue to ignore these warnings being sent our way by the Polish Bishops Episcopal Conference. I can assure readers, that the fight has barely begun, and that the Polish bishops were outraged by the mid-term relatio's heresies.

Archbishop Henryk Hoser
The two main errors stemming from the mid-term relatio is the proposal to fudge on giving Holy Communion to a canonically married Catholic who has "divorced" and "re-married" in a civil "ceremony". Such a second impure relationship is know as adultery: this is the "Adulterist Party". The second main error is the mid-term relatio's statement on homosexuality (introduced, as we now know by Archbishop Bruno Forte without knowledge of the fathers); this is the "Homosexualist Party".

Sadly, the voices of Catholic sanity coming from Poland, denouncing these two main errors were ignored. Very few "official" Catholic sources reported the words of Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki or, more recently, Archbishop Henryk Hoser. The words of these two men deserve careful study, for they are of exceptional gravity. Archbishop Gadecki also severely criticized the church in Germany. He was ignored. Let us not delude ourselves: a line in the sand has been drawn between the Vistula and the Rhine.

St. Pope John Paul II - betrayed by the Hierarchy
according to Archbishop Hoser
In 1939, the forces of darkness, the logical spiritual heirs of Martin Luther, unleashed their hatred on Christ and the world. Now, in 2015, German bishops (along with allies in western Europe and North America), intoxicated on Luther, Kant and Hegel, backed by decadent financial muscle, believe they can "strong arm" the Pope into granting them a change on pastoral practice, but leave doctrine "officially" alone. They have seriously miscalculated. The Church in Poland may not have financial muscle, but the Church in Poland prays, the Church in Poland still has Mary for her Queen, and the Church in Poland with her allies from the Churches in Africa, Asia, and other strong pockets of resistance from around the world, will defeat the new invading forces of darkness. Be assured of that.

If there is going to be schism, it will be the material heretics going. Catholics are already joining together in prayer, educating themselves, and preparing for spiritual combat with the promoters of this "serious Christological heresy".

It is time for the Tiber to decide: do they wish spiritual death to flow from the Rhine, or spiritual life from the Vistula? Most Holy Father: Quo vadis?

A Rosary Bouquet for David and Francoise Domet

"By each Hail Mary we give Our Lady the same honor that God gave her when He sent the Archangel Gabriel to greet her for Him"
St. Louis De Montfort

Our Lady of Lebanon, pray for us

Dear friends,

To pray for someone is the greatest act of love. Our Blessed Saviour has the greatest love imaginable for His most Blessed Mother. It is to her that we turn to take our petitions to Her Son. The greatest gift She has given us is the Most Holy Rosary.

I invite you in praying the Rosary for the intentions of David and Francoise Domet; that God, in His goodness, may hear our prayers. Please ensure that you likewise offer a Rosary for Fr. Thomas Rosica. May peace and reconciliation according to the mind of Christ be accomplished with regards to the threat of a lawsuit.

A Facebook Page has been created for the purpose of pledging a Rosary towards a Rosary Bouquet. Please reflect, pray and visit. The Bouquet will be completed on Easter Sunday.

BREAKING from POLAND: Fronda headlines reads: "Disgrace! A Basilian publicly insults Cardinal Burke"

Fr. Timothy Scott's outrageous use of an obscenity against H. E. Raymond Cardinal Burke is now major news in Poland. Though not a spokesman any more for the Basilians, Fr. Scott has yet to offer his resignation from the Canadian Religious Conference.

Fronda asks: 'It remains to be asked: if some priests have the effrontery to publicly insult Cardinals, to what extent of hatred must the defenders of doctrine and Tradition have endowed on them by so-called liberals ?!

The headline reads: Disgrace! A Basilian publicly insults Cardinal Burke

An Open Letter to Thomas Cardinal Collins: use your moral suasion to end the threat of a lawsuit

Your Eminence,

This morning,  you and all priests of the Roman Rite read the following from the Office of Readings. St. Aelred outlined, in a truly inspired  manner, the Christian belief in brotherly love, and, by extension, forgiveness.

The moment I began to read the passage, how could one not begin to think of the threat of a lawsuit against a Catholic blogger, which, as Your Eminence knows, has also exploded on the blogosphere - the medium of communication - with future consequences no one can foresee.

St. Aelred's passage, that we read this morning, shows us precisely why a brother in Christ should not even consider a lawsuit against another brother in Our Lord. Disagreements are to be resolved in the Church.

I therefore appeal to you, as Shepherd of the Archdiocese of Toronto in which both Fr. Thomas Rosica and Mr. David Domet reside, to intervene and use your moral suasion to bring the threat of a lawsuit to a close.

Though we are all guilty of sin, we are all also capable - only by the Grace of God - to forgive. Forgiveness is commanded of us by Our Lord, to allow His divine love to work and grow in us.

Catholics may wish to contact His Eminence over this matter to express their concern:

From the Mirror of Love by Saint Aelred, abbot
(Lib 3, 5: PL 195, 382)

Christ, the model of brotherly love

The perfection of brotherly love lies in the love of one’s enemies. We can find no greater inspiration for this than grateful remembrance of the wonderful patience of Christ. He who is more fair than all the sons of men offered his fair face to be spat upon by sinful men; he allowed those eyes that rule the universe to be blindfolded by wicked men; he bared his back to the scourges; he submitted that head which strikes terror in principalities and powers to the sharpness of the thorns; he gave himself up to be mocked and reviled, and at the end endured the cross, the nails, the lance, the gall, the vinegar, remaining always gentle, meek and full of peace.

In short, he was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and like a lamb before the shearers he kept silent, and did not open his mouth.

Who could listen to that wonderful prayer, so full of warmth, of love, of unshakeable serenity—Father, forgive them—and hesitate to embrace his enemies with overflowing love? Father, he says, forgive them. Is any gentleness, any love, lacking in this prayer?

Yet he put into it something more. It was not enough to pray for them: he wanted also to make excuses for them. Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. They are great sinners, yes, but they have little judgment; therefore, Father, forgive them. They are nailing me to the cross, but they do not know who it is that they are nailing to the cross: if they had known, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory;therefore, Father, forgive them. They think it is a lawbreaker, an impostor claiming to be God, a seducer of the people. I have hidden my face from them, and they do not recognise my glory; therefore, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.

If someone wishes to love himself he must not allow himself to be corrupted by indulging his sinful nature. If he wishes to resist the promptings of his sinful nature he must enlarge the whole horizon of his love to contemplate the loving gentleness of the humanity of the Lord. Further, if he wishes to savor the joy of brotherly love with greater perfection and delight, he must extend even to his enemies the embrace of true love.

But if he wishes to prevent this fire of divine love from growing cold because of injuries received, let him keep the eyes of his soul always fixed on the serene patience of his beloved Lord and Savior.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider: a true Shepherd of the Flock of Jesus Christ

His Excellency, Bishop Athanasius Schneider

The Miraculous Medal: the Bishop's Ring

God, eternal shepherd, you tend your Church in many ways and rule us with love. You have chosen your servant, Athanasius, to be a shepherd of your flock. Give him a spirit of courage and right judgment, a spirit of knowledge and love. By governing with fidelity those entrusted to his care, may he build your Church as a sign of salvation for the world. Amen.

The Great Western Schism of 2015 ~ Catholic church in Germany is preparing for a de facto break with eternal Rome

The Heresiarch,  Martin Luther

From Rorate Caeli:

The synod would have to find a text that would "further encourage" discussion and find a common position in fundamental questions. Doctrinally, one would remain within the community of the [Universal]Church, but in detailed questions of pastoral care "the synod cannot prescribe in detail what we must do in Germany”. Therefore, the bishops wanted to publish their own pastoral letter on marriage and family after the synod. It was not the duty of the bishops to wait for permissions.

"We are no subsidiaries of Rome. Each conference of bishops is responsible for pastoral care in its culture, and must, as its most proper task, preach the Gospel on our own. We cannot wait for a synod to tell us how we have to shape pastoral care for marriage and family here".

According to the German bishops' position, the reality of life constitutes an important factor for the doctrine of the Church. "We also learn from life in doctrine," underlined Cardinal Marx. Franz-Josef Bode, Bishop of Osnabrück, called in this context the synod "historically important." According to his view the participants do not only debate questions of marriage and family, but the possibility of a paradigm shift.

"Now is the acceptable time" (St. Paul) ~ let there be an end to the threat of a lawsuit from Fr. Rosica against a Catholic blogger

Our Lord entering His Passion
This blog has noted the divinely inspired words of St. Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles on the matter of lawsuits between Christians. Sacred Scripture is replete with calls to mercy, compassion, forbearance, forgiveness....why? For we have all sinned, we all seek forgiveness, and so we should all forgive. Forgiveness Himself has come into the world; come, let us imitate Him.

From today's Breviary:

Judge with true judgment, and let each one be merciful to his brother (Zechariah 7:9)

If you forgive the sins of others, your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins (Matthew 6:14)

This threat of a lawsuit, so it would seem, is causing harm to the Church. Readers, if they believe they have concerns, may wish to contact the following persons. Always do so with respect and courtesy.

Mary Wagner: "Thank-you for making this fragrant offering to Our Lord" ~ A letter of gratitude for those who prayed the Rosary for the unborn

Chair of St. Peter

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in the peace of Christ, in the love of the One who is our peace (Eph 2:14).

This opportunity has been given to me by Jack to thank the many of you who promised to pray a Rosary for our unborn brothers and sisters which, on my birthday, permitted us to pray together for these forgotten ones. Thank-you so much for making this fragrant offering to Our Lord! It is most appropriate that we, who can celebrate our birthdays, take time to intercede for those who may be denied their very first. God bless you!

I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who have written me since I came back to Vanier. The volumes of letters, cards and postcards has been amazing! A special thank-you to all the Poles, as most of the mail I receive has been coming from Poland.

I really wish I would be able to reply to everyone who has taken time to send their thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement. Please forgive me if I do no reply. I think that even if I spent most of the day writing letters, I still would not be able to keep up! There is also another reason; sometimes the return address is removed before I receive the letter/card. Each item of mail is opened twice before I receive it, and staff are instructed to remove all address labels (we are not allowed "sticky" material), so sometimes I do not have an address to reply to. Sometimes the addresses are removed when staff opens the envelope, as they tear away part of it. If you would like me to reply, please let me know and please leave your address (not email address) on the letter or card itself. Thank-you !

Please continue to pray for me and I will also keep praying for you. Let us keep our gaze fixed on Christ, specially as we live this holy season of Lent; may the love which led Our Saviour to humble Himself for our sake inflame our hearts so that we would allow Him to live and love in us as it most pleases Him. May Our Lady help us.

God bless you,

Mary Wagner

Did a crime take place in the Vatican during the Synod of the Family?

From Fr. Z., a tale of theft right in the Vatican, read on:

I have wanted to write about this for soooooo long now.
Kathnet broke this, in German HERE.
Remember the Five Cardinals Book™? Remaining in the Truth of Christ: Marriage and Communion in the Catholic Church helped to turn the tide – in a good way – during last October’s Synod of Bishops.  It was simultaneously released in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish.  It is going to be issued in: Polish, Portuguese, Hungarian, Croatian, Slovak, and Czech. It contains essays of five cardinals, of the archbishop secretary of the Vatican congregation for the Oriental Churches, and of three scholars direct at the notions suggested by Walter Card. Kasper in the opening discourse of the consistory in February 2014.  It blew the Kasper proposals and arguments out of the water.
You will also remember that Synod members were up in arms because of the manipulations and machinations of the staff of the Synod office.  Remember all the controversies about whether texts of speeches would be released?  About what could be reported?  About how the mid-term report was produced?  About certain strange paragraphs that didn’t reflect the discussions of the Synod?
There’s more.

Ontario's new sexual Education program is based on perverted Gender Ideology and seeks to destroy the souls of innocent children

Gender ideology is more insidious and evil than Marxism. So has written and spoken Fr. Darius Oko, the world's leading expect on this grave evil.  A brief examination of the Appendix of the Ontario Government's (in truth a totalitarian regime) proposed "sexual  education" program reveals that the entire program is based on gender ideology. Such a program is blasphemy because it says that children are to be taught morality contrary to the Gospels. This is blasphemy.

From a Pastoral Letter from the Polish Bishop's Conference on the Feast of the Holy Family, 2013:

Gender ideology is the result of decades of ideological and cultural transformation, strongly rooted in Marxism and neo-Marxism, promoted through certain elements of the feminist movement, as well as the sexual revolution.

Michael Voris asks: "How is Fr. Rosica paying for his civil action?"

Following the news that Fr. Thomas Rosica is threatening with a law suit  Catholic blogger, Vox Cantoris, Mr. Michael Voris asks a number of questions on his Vortex video, dated, February 24th, 2015.

Mr. Voris: "The law firm which Fr. Rosica employed to threaten to sue the blogger, is one of the most prestigious and costly in all Toronto. Which raises the disturbing question: how is Fr. Rosica paying for his civil action?  And that's a very fair question. He's under a vow of poverty  as a member of a religious order, no?"

Mr. Voris further asks: "Are funds being diverted from Salt and Light TV? Word on the street is Rosica's law firm charges a hefty retainer to even walk in the door, on the order of thousands of dollars. Who's paying that bill?"

Mr. Voris, again: "Rosica is, as is well known, Papal spokesman. Is someone at the Vatican picking up the tab for this? Where is that money coming from?"

Mary Wagner: Today marks Two months that she was arrested

On December 23rd, 2014, Mary Wagner, our dear sister in Christ, was arrested at a Toronto abortion mill for distributing roses and offering alternatives to the killing of unborn children by their expectant mothers. Please continue to pray for the unborn and for Mary. On this day too, please pray for Linda Gibbons - "her mentor, her elder, her leader, her inspiration" (Jane Wagner).

Psalm 9

Antiphon: The poor are not alone in their distress; God is here to help them.

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will recount all your wonders.
I will rejoice in you and be glad,
and sing psalms to your name, O Most High.

See how my enemies turn back,
how they stumble and perish before you.
You upheld the justice of my cause;
you sat enthroned, judging with justice.

You have checked the nations, destroyed the wicked;
you have wiped out their name for ever and ever.
The foe is destroyed, eternally ruined.
You uprooted their cities; their memory has perished.

But the Lord sits enthroned for ever.
He has set up his throne for judgment;
he will judge the world with justice,
he will judge the peoples with his truth.

For the oppressed let the Lord be a stronghold,
a stronghold in times of distress.
Those who know your name will trust you;
you will never forsake those who seek you.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now,
and will be for ever. Amen.

Michael Voris: "The Faith doesn't matter" ~ Fr. Thomas Rosica CSB and ecumenism as a deacon

Blessed are the Pure of Heart for they shall see God

"It is impossible for anyone who leads an impure life not to grow weak in the Faith"
St, John Chrysostom, Sermon 1. De Verbis Apost.

The Government of Ontario, a regime of iniquity, has declared that the intrinsically evil 2015 "sex-education" plan will be implemented. Even if it were not, that should not cause us any moment of enjoyment, for children are still being fed spiritual poison, from another intrinsically evil program dated, 1998. Poison is poison, whether it kills you today, or in a couple of days. Death is still the result. The 1998 program is apparently not "up to date" with the latest evils, and so must be replaced.

But the matter is far, far deeper than just being revolted and opposed to obscenity being hoisted on children, on youth. With the cinema, the press, advertisements, modern modes of "dress", is the attempt to corrupt an entire generation of youth (and not only youth) by means of sins of the flesh, in the process depriving them of Grace, and ripping them from the Mystical Body.

The promotion of sins of the flesh is the promotion of the destruction of the Faith, of society; of the reduction of the human person to brutes. St. Thomas Aquinas insists that the intelligence and the will are disturbed most of all by sins of impurity. The intelligence is damaged by inconstancy and inability to reflect; the impure will produces self-love and hatred of God. Is it any wonder that we see so much overt evil in society? We live in a world satiated in impurity, in indecency. This greatly offends God. Because impurity offends God, and the human person is created in His Image and Likeness, impurity is a great offense against true human dignity. The call to each and every one of us for our final end is eternal happiness, but it cannot be achieved without a pure heart.

The promotion of impurity is a direct attack on Our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Blessed Saviour has a special love for children. The first Martyrs were the Holy Innocents. Jesus always loved children; to be in their presence, for children to be brought to him. How he loved to heal children! "Little girl, I say to you get up" (Mk 5:21-43).

Yet let us never forget these words for those who hate the innocent:

"It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin". Luke 17:2

The solution for Catholics is an increase in purity, to live pure lives with the focus on God and His Mother, who is our example of purity.

St. Paul teaches: The body, however, is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body; God raised the Lord and will also raise us by his power. (1 Corinthians 6: 13 –14).

and again:

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

Pray that you respond to the gift of holy purity that God offers you. Don't settle for anything less.

Voris, Vox and the Vatican: Renew America's Tom O'Toole's take on Fr. Thomas Rosica's CSB, lawsuit against Mr. David Domet

From Renew America.

When Michael Voris speaks, orthodox Catholics usually listen, and as one of the "Voris chorus," I know that when two of his talks appear on the same topic in the space of days, it's not only something worth listening to, but worth writing about. In this case, Michael spoke about the absurd (and possibly scary) situation of rogue Vatican spokesman, Father Thomas Rosica's, threatened lawsuit against traditionalist Catholic Canadian blogger, David Anthony Domet. Although Domet's blog, Vox Cantoris, merely reported the truth about Rosica's highly heterodox statements and tweets, the priest's lawyers are threatening to sue Domet for Catholic defamation of character. And, as if there are not already enough questionable Catholic characters in this story, Voris alludes to another one who may soon have to enter it, which has the thinking faithful singing, "Say it ain't so, Pope Francis!"

BREAKING NEWS: Cardinal Burke: The Mid-term relatio "was incompatible with the constant teaching and discipline of the Church..."

Nasz Dziennik carries an interview today [20.02.2015] with Raymond Cardinal Burke. The original may be read here.

Marcin Perłowski: The final document that has been sent to Dioceses of the Bishops' Extraordinary Synod of the Family has become a subject of discussion before this year's Synodal Assembly. How does Your Eminence assess the "Relatio Synodi"?

Cardinal Burke: The final document is considerably better than the one published in the middle of the Synod, which was incompatible with the constant teaching and discipline of the ChurchHowever, it could be much stronger in terms of fidelity to the Magisterium of the Church, because some of the issues are left open. As to the issue of permitting access to Confession and Holy Communion of  people living in irregular relationships, as well as the moral situation of people living in extramarital sexual contact and the people involved in homosexual unions. There is still much work to be done!

Marcin PerÅ‚owski: Everyone has been invited to discuss issues of doctrine. What real impact can this have?

Cardinal Burke:  Any discussion on doctrinal questions should be conducted based on the constant teaching of the Church. It seems that these doctrinal and disciplinary matters now are going to to the diocese, then the diocese will give its opinions, and then the Pope will issue a decision based on what he hears. But it cannot be this way! Explaining doctrine as well as church discipline is the responsibility of bishops, priests, as well as the parents of families. They should help the faithful in parishes and dioceses, and children in families understand the truth about life and mutual relations in accordance with this truth. Above all, you should not think that these are the things that a person could decide alone.

Should Christians bring lawsuits against each other? "Absolutely not"

The Holy Bible provides us with instruction for living the Christian life. The greatest commandment given  by Our Blessed Lord is that we "love one another".  The following is from a protestant website. If they can get it right, why can't we, as Catholics, as members of Christ's One, True Church?

The apostle Paul instructed the Corinthian believers to not  to court against one another (1 Corinthians 6:1-8). For Christians not to forgive each other and reconcile their own differences is to demonstrate spiritual defeat. Why would someone want to become a Christian if Christians have just as many problems and are just as incapable of solving them?...

Paul further declares, “Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?” (1 Corinthians 6:7). The thing Paul is concerned with here is the testimony of the believer. It would be far better for us to be taken advantage of, or even abused, than it would be for us to push a person even further away from Christ by taking him/her to court. Which is more important—a legal battle or the battle for a person’s eternal soul? In summary, should Christians take each other to court over church matters? Absolutely not! Should Christians take each other to court over civil matters? If it can in any way be avoided, no...
