Will the 2015 Synod on the Family end up producing a document both heterodox and orthodox? Yes, Rome did it in 1969-1979

New reports from the Holy See Press Office claim that the 2014, MOnday Homosexualist THREE paragraph declaration is still not dead (so speaketh Fr. Thomas Rosica), though rejected by the Fathers.

The entire situation is reminding me of the scandalous and heretical definition of the Mass issused in 1969, only to be withdrawn ansd replaced with a new version in 1970. However, the innovators never accepted or recanted their error; merely, they juxtaposed error with truth. See below.

ORIGINAL TEXT OF 1969

The Lord’s Supper or the Mass is the sacred assembly or gathering together of the people of God, under the presidency of a priest, to celebrate the memorial of the Lord. That is why the promise of Christ  : ‘ Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them ’ (Mt 18.20) applies in a special way to this local gathering of Holy Church".
CORRECTED TEXT OF MAY 1970
“ In the Mass or the Lord’s Supper, the people of God come together, under the presidency of a priest who represents Christ, to celebrate the memorial of the Lord or Eucharistic sacrifice. That is why the promise of Christ  : ‘ Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them ’ (Mt 18.20) applies in a special way to this local gathering of Holy Church.  For in the celebration of the Mass, in which the sacrifice of the Cross is perpetuated, Christ is really present in the very community which has gathered in His name, in the person of the minister, in His Word, and indeed substantially and continuously under the Eucharistic species".

Pope Francis: a lame duck Pope? - a crisis of leadership added to a crisis of Faith

With chaos, division, disorder roaring through the Church - the Pope remains silent. The beatification of Paul VI is not enough: we need a Credo, we need a declaration of Faith, we need bread, not stones: we need a Father. And we need action: against the manipulators of the Synod: Baldisseri, Forte, Lombardi and his lackeys. We need action against the filth....

Now this from the gently "conservative" Catholic Herald:

The presentation earlier this week of the so-called “mid-term report” of the extraordinary synod of bishops on the family (the Latin headline of which, relatio post disceptationem, may seem to the unenlightened to give it an authority it doesn’t in fact possess) aroused a predictable level of interest in both the Catholic and the non-Catholic media.
Their general assumption has been (and the report’s half dozen authors clearly intended that the assumption should be) that what it conveys is that the Catholic Church is gearing up, not for any change in pastoral strategy, but for fundamental changes in the Church‘s teachings (hitherto immutable) on important questions to do with marriage and with sexual morality....

Cardinal Napier talks about the strange circumstances in the manner the relatio was released....

The importance of this video are the words of H.E. Cardinal Napier of South Africa. (see. 3:00 onwards)...

The full commentary of Cardinal Napier may be listened to here.

Analysis of the Synod by Sandro Magister - the question remains: what would the Pope have done if Baldisseri had strong-armed the bishops into heresy?

The True Story of This Synod. Director, Performers, Assistants

New paradigms of divorce and homosexuality are now at home in the highest levels of the Church. Nothing has been decided, but Pope Francis is patient. An American historian confutes the ideas of “La Civiltà Cattolica”

by Sandro Magister

ROME, October 17, 2014 - “The spirit of the Council is blowing again,” Filipino Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle has said, a rising star of the worldwide episcopate as well as being a historian of Vatican II. And it is true. At the synod that is about to conclude there are many elements in common with what happened at that great event.

The most visible similarity is the distance between the real synod and the virtual synod driven by the media.

But there is an even more substantial resemblance. Both at Vatican Council II and at this synod the changes of paradigm are the product of careful coordination. A protagonist of Vatican II like Fr. Giuseppe Dossetti - the consummate strategist of the four cardinal moderators who were at the controls of the conciliar machine - asserted this with pride. He said that he had “transformed the fate of the Council” thanks to his capacity to pilot the assembly, which he had learned in his previous political experience as the leader of the foremost Italian party.

The same thing has happened at this synod. Both the openness to communion for the civilly divorced and remarried - and therefore the admission of remarriage on the part of the Church - and the startling change of paradigm on the issue of homosexuality that found its way into the “Relatio post disceptationem” would not have been possible without a series of skillfully calculated steps on the part of those who had and have control of the procedures.

In order to understand this, it is enough to review the stages that led to this result, even if the provisory finale of the synod - as will be seen - has not met the expectations of its directors.

Shunning vs Fellowship: Welcoming Homosexuals

Let's get one thing out of the way first; shunning has been practiced in the Catholic Church in the past. There were formerly two degrees of excommunication, vitandi and tolerati. This is not reflected in current canon law. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia...
A formally published or nominative excommunication occurs when the sentence has been brought to the knowledge of the public by a notification from the judge, indicating by name the person thus punished. No special method is required for this publication; according to the Council of Constance (1414-18), it suffices that "the sentence have been published or made known by the judge in a special and express manner". Persons thus excommunicated are to be shunned (vitandi), i.e. the faithful must have no intercourse with them either in regard to sacred things or (to a certain extent) profane matters, as we shall see farther on. All other excommunicated persons, even though known, are tolerati, i.e. the law no longer obliges the faithful to abstain from intercourse with them, even in religious matters.
St. Paul also mentions shunning in his letter to the Corinthians and it is worthwhile to consider his remarks. Notice the distinction St. Paul makes between outsiders and the brethren. He does not expect the Corinthians to avoid contact with sinners but he is very strict on how they are to behave towards one who has been welcomed as a brother then fallen into grave sin.
I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with immoral men;  not at all meaning the immoral of this world, or the greedy and robbers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But rather I wrote to you not to associate with any one who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or robber—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?  1Cor5:9-12
His concern is not that the Corinthians will somehow be tainted by exposure to the sinful practices of the world around them. One could hardly have been in a more corrupt city in all the empire. No, he is primarily concerned with those who had been welcomed as brothers, received into the community of believers and then behaved in a way that brought scandal upon the community.

When we speak of welcoming homosexuals into our churches we need to ask who exactly we are talking about. Clearly, if the Church is to be a refuge for sinners then any sinner needs to be welcomed with open arms. The notion that one needs to be pure to enter is nonsense. Those who are searching, confused, questioning, wounded all ought to find a welcome in our midst. Repentance ought to be the result of fellowship with us, not a precondition for it.

There are, however, people and organizations whose avowed purpose is to change Catholic doctrine from within. Organizations which represent themselves as Catholic but which approve of sin should be viewed with suspicion. Nowhere is this contrast more apparent than in the Courage Apostolate which supports Catholic teaching and Dignity which seeks to subvert it.

The Forgotten Papacy? On this day, October 16, 1978, Karol Wojtyla was elected to the Supreme Pontificate

No news about this great man on the Vatican News website this day; nothing from the Holy See Press Office, or its various vernacular language lackeys.... silence...well, they have to remain silent if they are trying to subvert, indeed overturn his Magisterium....

Cardinal Burke speaks with Poland's "Nasz Dziennik" about the Synod's interim "relatio"

Nasz Dziennik, in an interview published on 16th, October with His Eminence, Raymond Cardinal Burke, reveals to us a number of gravely disturbing facts about the Synod, and the interim relatio.

The original Polish, may be read here.

Question: Your Eminence*, alarming information reaches to Poland about the existing work of the Synod and some content that appears there...

Cardinal Burke:  I agree with the opinion expressed by the President of the Polish Bishops' Conference,  Archbishop Stanislaw GÄ…decki. The text presented on Monday, "Relatio post disceptationem", that summarized the work of the synod, strikes at Catholic marriage. Discussion on the granting of Holy Communion divorced persons is very dangerous. It directly undermines the institution of marriage and its indissolubility and sacredness. The text of the  "Relatio" has many errors, and even, I would say even faulty and harmful.

Q: Currently bishops are working in groups on specific points of the working document. What results can you see, Your Eminence ?

Cardinal Burke: I hope and even believe that what will be developed in these small groups will be treated with all seriousness. So far, the work of the synod was completely dominated by the General Secretariat of the Synod. Meanwhile, it is a time of discussion, in which you have to hear each of the bishops. Most do not like is how the proceedings were conducted. Similarly, the vast majority of bishops with whom I spoke do not agree with the presented document on Monday. I expect and hope that it will be thoroughly revised and completely corrected.

Q: The final Synodal document will be published at the end of the second session next year. Does Your Eminence * think that something will change during this time?

Cardinal Burke: Certainly, during the course of that year there will be an even greater discussion And absolutely, on one side must stand, those, who know and love the Catholic Faith. From them will be needed a strong commitment, to have certainty that the Catholic Faith will be  to make sure that the Catholic faith will be defended and preserved.

 * [literally, "Father Cardinal", a distinct Polish manner of addressing prelates]

Holy See Press Office's Thomas Rosica exposed as not a servant of the synod Fathers, but an active agent of the innovators

Fr. Thomas Rosica, English language spokesman for the now notoriously manipulative and deceitful, Holy See Press Office, has let his guard down and re-tweeted a strange tweet claiming what the "conservatives" want, their "panic" etc.

It would be bad enough for a priest of Jesus Christ to harbour the dissident views jammed into the relatio; it is surely wrong for a priest, at the service of the Holy See, to actively manifest bias in favour of the heresies spouted on Monday.

Given the open bias and censorship imposed by the HSPO upon the bishops - how can we trust anything coming out of Thomas Rosica's mouth, when he openly favours the innovators?

So, we are left with gagged bishops, and dissenters in charge of the HSPO; manipulating the Synod and decapitating this Papacy. As Freyr and I discussed and agreed yesterday: without a strong statement in favour of orthodoxy by Pope Francis, his Papacy is dead. We will be looking at a re-run of the the post Humanae vitae disaster that plagued the Church through the seventies. We want a Pope who will act decisively, not commit himself into the position of a "lameduck" Pope. For if he permits ambiguity to continue for another year, he will have transformed himself into a spiritual eunuch.
