Lecture by Bishop Athanasius Schnieder on the doctrine of St. Pius X: "the great temptation for bishops.... compromise with modern society"

This lecture, delivered a few months ago, is even more urgent for Catholics to view and reflect upon, following the disastrous Synod on the Family. The bishop devotes much time to expounding the holy Pope's doctrine on the role and duties of bishops.

Leading Catholic media around the world are commenting on the interview given to  "Polonia Christiana" with Bishop Athanasius Schneider. The interview, "Against Pharisees" was published in the latest issue of the magazine, and its English version can be read on the website PCh24.pl.

The Church and the world urgently needs fearless and sincere witness for the full (or whole) truth about the commandments and the will of God; the whole truth about what Christ said about marriage- said Bishop Athanasius Schneider in an interview with "Polonia Christiana".

The interview was widely reported in the Catholic media worldwide. 

The interview was cited and analyzed by such sites as: LifeSite News, CatholicCulture, Rorate-Caeli.blogspot.com, onepeterfive.com, torontocatholicwitness.blogspot.com., and Gloria TV.

 "That, the fact that within the very bosom of the Church, there are people that would undermine the teaching of the Lord Jesus, became a clear reality before the eyes of the world thanks to the Internet and the work of some Catholic journalists who are not indifferent to what is happening to the Catholic faith, which they consider to be the treasure of Christ. With pleasure I noticed that some Catholic journalists and the internet bloggers behaved like good soldiers of Christ, exposing positions that  undermine the perennial teaching of Jesus. Cardinals, bishops and priests, Catholic families and young Catholics must say to themselves:  I do not agree with the neopagan spirit of the world, even if they be some bishops and cardinals. I will not accept their cunning and the perverse use of holy mercy of God and the "new Pentecost." I refuse to burn incense before the statue of the god of gender ideology, before the god of  remarriage and cohabitation(concubinage). Even if my bishop did so, I will not follow. By the grace of God, I would rather suffer than renounce the whole truth of Christ in matters of human sexuality and marriage, " pointed out the bishop. 

BREAKING NEWS: Pakistani Catholic family "tortured and killed for Christ" - stoned and burned alive by Imam and Moslem mob

On Tuesday, November 4th, a Catholic family was brutally murdered by a mob of Moslems in Pakistan. Shahzad Masih and his wife, Shama, who was with child, were stoned and burnt to death. The incident began with Mr. Masih being accused of burning the Koran, after he had burnt belongings of his late father, including some papers. 

The Catholic couple were imprisoned in a brickyard. On the following day, a mob of about 400 came from the local mosque, and under the instructions of the local imam, meted out "justice". 

His Excellency, Bishop Rufin Anthony of Islamabad has denounced this as an act of barbarity. The murders shows the direct responsibility of local muslims leaders, yet police have made no arrests. 

These bestial murders show what a precarious state Catholics in Pakistan live. Please continue to pray for the safe release of Asia Bibi, whose death sentence has not yet been overturned; that she be released into freedom.

BREAKING NEWS: Bishop Schneider speaks about the Synod: certain texts "present a radical neopagan ideology..."

Thank God for St. Pope John Paul II and the Catholic legacy he has left in Poland. Once again, a Polish Catholic news agency comes to the rescue of Catholics who are being kept deliberately in the dark by "official" or "semi-official" Catholic news agencies. It pays to be able to read and write Polish during these dark times for the Church. This blog will continue to monitor, on a daily basis, Catholic news from Poland, and publish accordingly for English language readers. 

The excellent Polonia Christiana 24 carries an extensive interview with H.E. Bishop Athanasius Schneider on the recent Synod of the Family. The interview is profoundly disturbing and shocking, showing us the depth of spiritual confusion and corruption within the body of bishops, and in Rome herself.

We are in a very, very serious crisis - perhaps even more grave than during the Protestant revolt. 2014, in my estimation, is even more dangerous than 1517. 

Key points, as I see them, on the Synod by Bishop Schneider, include: 

1. It was manipulated:

During the Synod there had been moments of obvious manipulation on the part of some clerics who held key positions in the editorial and governing structure of the Synod. The interim report (Relatio post disceptationem) was clearly a prefabricated text with no reference to the actual statements of the Synod fathers. In the sections on homosexuality, sexuality and “divorced and remarried” with their admittance to the sacraments the text represents a radical neo-pagan ideology.

2. Rome published a heterodox document:

This is the first time in Church history that such a heterodox text was actually published as a document of an official meeting of Catholic bishops under the guidance of a pope, even though the text only had a preliminary character.

3.  On admitting the divorced and civilly remarried to Holy Communion: 

A person who still has the indissoluble sacramental marriage bond and who in spite of this lives in a stable marital cohabitation with another person, by Divine law cannot be admitted to Holy Communion. To do so would be a public statement by the Church nefariously legitimizing a denial of the indissolubility of the Christian marriage and at the same time repealing the sixth commandment of God: “Thou shalt not commit adultery".

4. Gnostic clerical arrogance with regards to overthrowing the Divine Deposit of the Faith 

This fact is in itself grievous and represents an attitude of clerical arrogance towards the Divine truth of the Word of God. The attempt to put the Divine truth and the Divine Word to a vote is unworthy of those who as representatives of the Magisterium have to hand over zealously as good and faithful rules (cf. Math 24, 45) the Divine deposit. By admitting the “divorced and remarried” to Holy Communion those bishops establish a new tradition on their own volition and transgressing thereby the commandment of God, as Christ once rebuked the Pharisees and Scribes (cf. Math 15: 3). And what is still aggravating, is the fact that such bishops try to legitimize their infidelity to Christ’s word by means of arguments such as “pastoral need”, “mercy”, “openness to the Holy Spirit”. Moreover they have no fear and no scruples to pervert in a Gnostic manner the real meaning of these words labeling at the same time those who oppose them and defend the immutable Divine commandment and the true non-human tradition as rigid, scrupulous or traditionalist.

5. The real pharisees are the innovators:

In fact the bishops who support Holy Communion for “divorced remarried” are the new Pharisees and Scribes because they neglect the commandment of God, contributing to the fact that out of the body and of the heart of the “divorced remarried” continue to “proceed adulteries” (Math 15: 19)...

6. On the final relatio's continued equivocation regarding Holy Communion for the "divorced remarried":

The final Relatio of the Synod also unfortunately contains the paragraph with the vote on the issue of Holy Communion for “divorced remarried”. Even though it has not achieved the required two third of the votes, there remains nevertheless the worrying and astonishing fact that the absolute majority of the present bishops voted in favor of Holy Communion for the “divorced and remarried”,  a sad reflection on the spiritual quality of the catholic episcopacy in our days

7. The Church is being purified:

In this extraordinarily difficult time Christ is purifying our Catholic faith so that through this trial the Church will shine brighter and be really light and salt for the insipid neo-pagan world thanks to the fidelity and the pure and simple faith firstly of the faithful...

8. The Polish reaction against the adulterist and homosexualist advocates:

It is certainly an honor for Polish Catholicism that the President of the Catholic episcopate, His Excellency Archbishop Gądecki, defended with clarity and courage the truth of Christ about marriage and human sexuality, thus revealing himself to be a true spiritual son of Saint John Paul II. 

9. On Catholic bloggers standing up for the truth:

I was was pleased to see that some Catholic journalists and internet bloggers behaved as good soldiers of Christ and drew attention to this clerical agenda of undermining the perennial teaching of Our Lord. 

10. Catholics must refuse to follow false teachers; even if they be a bishop

Catholic young people have to say to themselves: I refuse to conform to the neo-pagan spirit of this world, even when this spirit is spread by some bishops and cardinals; I will not accept their fallacious and perverse use of holy Divine mercy and of “new Pentecost”; I refuse to throw grains of incense before the statue of the idol of the gender ideology, before the idol of second marriages, of concubinage, even if my bishop would do so, I will not do so; with the grace of God I will choose to suffer rather than betray the whole truth of Christ on human sexuality and on marriage.

BREAKING NEWS: Cardinal Tagle: "they focused on homosexuality"? Were his words distorted by official Catholic news agencies?

I place a question mark after the title, as we have a problem. Christiana 24, a Polish Catholic media service, reports that Cardinal Tagle of Manila, in an interview expressed concern that media reporting on the recent Synod on the Family was dominated by western journalists, without any presence from  Asia or Africa. The results of this western secular presence was, in the Cardinal's words, to be "focused on homosexuality". The other concern of the media was Holy Communion for the divorced and civilly remarried. 

However, Cathnews New Zealand, reports the Cardinal only referred to what has become know in English, as same-sex marriage. Words carry meaning, words are important. Did the Cardinal speak of homosexuality, or same-sex marriage?  UCAnews, quotes the Cardinal speakings of "gay union". 

Given that the Synod, not even during the interim relatio endorsed so-called same-sex marriage, or "gay unions", it is highly probable that the Cardinal also referred to the issue of "homosexuality". In other words, another major "official" Catholic news agencies are trying to shift attention away from Catholic doctrinal teaching on the intrinsic sinfulness of homosexual acts, and fudge the issue by only speaking of "same-sex marriage". 

And this draws me to a very grave concern: are major official Catholic news agencies becoming party to the Homosexualists who seek to change praxis on active homosexuality? For if the Cardinal focused on "homosexuality" it would signal disapproval; and this is held to be intolerable by the Homosexualists.

To conclude, the Archbishop of Wellington, wrote this about the Synod. We know now that only three individuals spoke of homosexuality, so, the archbishop is not telling the truth. Also note, his homosexualist position: fudge on the sinfulness of homosexuality, oppose same-sex marriage. 

Many bishops spoke at length about homosexuality. The very fact that this topic was being discussed so openly is a change from previous discussions. They were genuinley [sic] trying to find a way to recognise those who live a homosexual lifestyle, but were on no way comparing such a union to Christian marriage.

St. Pope John Paul II: the "cultural warrior" is to be eliminated by the Adulterist and Homosexualist Parties that seek to pervert Church doctrine

St. John Paul II was forgotten at the Synod; it is now becoming apparent that the long-term preferred action is that his influence be eliminated. It is becoming more and more obvious that this man has become a serious threat to the innovators (the Bruno Forte clique) who seem to have developed tentacles everywhere. The platitudes and nice words towards the late pope may still continue, but the active suppression of his doctrine will increase. As a Polish priest once said: "you may have a picture of John Paul up in your home, but how do you actually live? Do you live according to what he taught"? 
Good questions, that need answers. 

La Stampa carries an article about actual and potential changes to the US episcopate. All of this a highly organized "putsch" being carried out within the Holy See by the "Adulterist" and "Homosexualist" Parties. The English language spokesman, Thomas Rosica, CSB, "cultural warrior" of the Adulterist and Homosexualist positions, tweets and approves of eliminating pro-life "cultural warrior" bishops (under the pretext that they are lackeys of international capitalism). Apparently, a truly modern bishop is to tone down opposition to the "unspeakable crime" (c.f. Gaudium et Spes) of abortion. It is as if these innovators are the ones who are trying to provoke schism. 

If only the United States (not to mention Canada and the eternal shame of the gradualist "Winnipeg Statement") had had a few more, and truly loyal sons of the Church, perhaps there would have been less abortions? History has shown us the results of cowardly bishops (just cowardly alone): does anyone remember Bishop Fisher breaking with his cowardly fellow bishops and making a one man stand against a tyrant? 

A little know passage in the English speaking world is from "cultural warrior", St. Pope John Paul II, who was no lackey of capitalism (or socialism, I might add) when he spoke these words at the military airport in Radom, Poland in 1990:

"the burial of the victims of human cruelty in our century is accompanied by yet another big cemetery: the cemetery of the unborn, the cemetery of the defenseless, whose face was not even recognized by his own mother, who accepted or yielded to pressure to take their lives away before they are born. 

Yet there was a life, conceived, developed at the heart of their mothers, yet not sensing the mortal danger. And once the threat has become a reality, these defenseless human beings tried to defend himself. " (trans. Barona)

Contrary to what the innovators claim (e.g. a false union between capitalists and pro-life activists/bishops. Another lie: capitalism is a major engine that drives the individualistic mindset that feeds abortion.c.f. Pius XI) there is no dichotomy between fighting for the poor and fighting against the scourge of abortion. St Pope John Paul II buried this canard through his life and preaching. Preaching, I must add that these innovators devoted their lives to distorting and suppressing. 

Have you ever heard from the pulpit a sermon against abortion, or contraception, or against fornication, adultery, or against homosexuality? When was the last time your parish priest preached about modesty, the scourge of pornography? if the answer is very, very rarely or never: you certainly have a coward before you, if not a traitor. 

For Pope John Paul II preached for a programme of sexual ethics to be taught and catechized about. He was betrayed; now he is to be ignored and forgotten. 

St. Pope John Paul II, pray for us. 

Croatian Bishops Conference denounces gender ideology as a "spiritual dictatorship... an anthropological revolution"

While episcopal conferences in western Europe and North America remain silent; while Archbishop Bruno Forte continues to spread his poison, while the pernicious Holy See Press Office's officials promote the Adulterist and Homosexualist Parties within the Church, another episcopal conference has spoken forcefully in favour of Christ and His Gospel. 

Following on the Polish bishops' December 2013 denouncement of gender ideology as the culmination of the sexual revolution the Croatians have now spoken. The Catholic bishops too, in Africa, have been very active in denouncing the pernicious sexual ethical errors being spread on that Continent by powerful, wealthy internationalist forces.

At the conclusion of its 49th plenary session, the Croatian Bishops Conference denounced gender ideology in the following terms: "Gender ideology has become a form of spiritual dictatorship which imposes an anthropological revolution".

In light of the interim report, as well as the ambiguous final report (the former is still available on the Holy See website) it is worth recalling what the Polish wrote about gender ideology, an ideology that has penetrated deeply into the minds of far too many bishops - as was evident at the Synod. 

The gender ideology is the result of decades of ideological and cultural transformation, strongly rooted in Marxism and neo-Marxism, promoted through certain elements of the feminist movement, as well as the sexual revolution.Genderism promotes principles completely contrary to reality and the integral understanding of human nature. It claims that sex - biologically understood - does not have a social  basis, and that before all else, it is cultural, which a person may individually fashion and define irrespective of biological determinants. According to this ideology, a person may: determine whether one is a man or a woman; may also freely choose their sexual orientation. This voluntary self-determination, which does not have to remain static, is to lead to a society that accepts the right to create new types of family, for example, built on a union of a homosexual character.
