These are the words the priest utters when he puts the ashes on the top of our head (for men) or on our forehead (for women) before or after Mass on Ash Wednesday.
"Remember, man, that thou art dust, and unto dust thou shalt return."
These are the words of Genesis 3.
May we remember them as we enter this Season of Penance.
