Pope Francis: "children...not even allowed to be born..." ~ Why is the Holy See Press Office censoring the Holy Father?

You will not read this address on news.va, the official Holy See news service, controlled by the Holy See Press Office. I have written in the past that the Holy See Press Office is corrupt, and pushing a heterodox agenda. They were busy at it during the October Synod of the Family, pushing the Adulterist and Homosexualist Party positions.

They were busy away distorting the Pope's words last October 3rd,  when he addressed the Council of the Bishops' Conferences of Europe. At that time, The Holy See Press Office released this document. But the actual words of the Pope were these. The Pope also spoke these critical words that are totally missing from the Holy See Press Office's official document:

Europe has discarded its children. A bit triumphantly. I remember that when I was studying in one country the clinics that did abortions then prepared everything to send it to cosmetic factories. Makeup made with the blood of innocents. And this was something to brag about, because it was progressive: the rights of the woman, the woman has the right over her body.

Once again, to find the true mind of the Holy Father I am forced to search about the Holy See's website in Italian. One will notice that texts are not being translated into major languages. Catholics are not receiving the teachings of the Pope. This is intolerable! This is a scandal!

Compare the original text from today's Angelus Address (March, 18, 2015)  here, with the highly edited English language version released by the Holy See Press Office, here.

The following, from the Holy Father, was carefully edited out by the Holy See Press Office:

Dear brothers and sisters, good morning!

"Today I will focus on the great gift that is children for humanity - it is true they are a great gift to humanitybut they are also greatly excluded, not even allowed to be born...

...dear brothers and sisters, children bring life, joy, hope, even trouble. But, life is so. Certainly they also bring concerns and sometimes many problems; but it is better a sociey with these concerns and these problems, than a society sad and gray because it has remained without children! And when we see that the birth level is just one percent, we can say that this society is sad, is gray because it has remained without children".

Congratulations! Excellent Scoop! Great Catholic Journalism. God bless you. Susan Fox www.ChristsFaithfulWitness.com
P.S. I finally figured out how to list other blogs on my blog. I had long admired you and Vox's gadgets. Now I got you both on my blog.

I think they are censoring, not censuring.

censuring/censoring... it probably is both.

Can we GET NAMES of the Director of the Press Office, and the employee who is doing this...so they can be officially reprimanded and/or dismissed - and this travesty stopped!

names names names

Hi,

Great article, keep up the good work.
Perhaps there is something with my browser, but I didn't get the link in the above:

"But the actual words of the Pope were these."

Can you repost?

The missing link has been added. Thank-you.

Actually, this isn't censorship. It's a format thing.

If you are crazed or sleepless enough to get up and watch the General Audiences at 3/4 AM on EWTN, you know that the Holy Father (JPII, Benedict, Francis) always gives a long address in Italian. Then a short "summary" is read by priests who speak the major pilgrim languages, as each of them reads out the name of visiting pilgrim groups who speak that language.

Now, you could argue that whoever is doing the summary has left out a lot of the "good parts," and it might be interesting to see who does choose what goes into the summary. But this long form/summary thing has been done at every General Audience for at least the last ten or fifteen years.

However, it's true that the English version of documents by the Holy Father often does leave stuff out, soften and harden language, change tenses, etc., and sometimes in a hamhanded way, which we don't see in the Italian and Spanish versions. So it's not paranoia when sometimes they are out to get you!

Unfortunately it is censorship when key doctrinal and pastoral passages are left out. And left out by those who are showing their hand in supporting an overthrowing of doctrine as it pertains to the indissolubility of marriage and the intrinsic evil of homosexual acts.
