Cardinal Collins: Pope Emeritus Benedict was “an amazing man” - Vatican News

Vatican Radio: Your Eminence, welcome to Vatican Radio. It's a bit of a sad and somber moment for us, but we'd like to talk a little bit about your memories of Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger.

You were named archbishop of Toronto by Benedict XVI, as pope, and later created cardinal by him, in fact, in one of the last consistories in his pontificate, about a year before his resignation. Could you just share with us some of your memories of the late Holy Father?

Cardinal Collins: Well, the time when I first really met him was when we had, in 2006, an ad limina visit of the Canadian bishops, which bishops do every five years or so. And so it was my turn as archbishop of Edmonton to meet the Holy Father. And so I went in, and that's really the only time I've had a lengthy time with Pope Benedict. And he was just so very gentle and very kind. You know, people often speak of that. The kind of gentleness and loving presence which he had was a real sense of holiness. And so he asked me about the diocese, [of] which I was the bishop.

And then we talked about how to reach out to young people, how to care for families, and things of that nature. And so I was just very touched by his presence, just gentleness and kindness.

And then, of course, shortly after that, it was around the time when I was archbishop of Toronto, and a few years later, I was made a cardinal by Pope Benedict. And I remember coming with my two sisters, and it was so, so wonderful. We were there the day after the cardinals were created. And we were in the big audience hall there. And each one of us had a chance to go up, and it was it was a great joy for me to present my two sisters, Catherine and Patricia, to Pope Benedict. And he was just just so loving. And that's the sense people have, I think, with him, just so kind.

So those are the main occasions in which I met him. I did not really know him that personally, but I've known him, of course, through his writings and through just the way he would speak and lead the Church.

VR: And in fact, Joseph Ratzinger, the man, has had a profound influence on the Church through his writings, through his teachings, not only as Pope but already as a young priest. He served as an emeritus, an expert, at the Second Vatican Council, later as a profound theologian, as prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith at the side of Saint John Paul II. What do you see as Benedict's legacy, the most significant gifts that he leaves for the Church?

CC: Well, I think his partnership with Pope John Paul was a very great blessing for the Church. They had different approaches, different backgrounds. Pope John Paul was more of a philosopher and a poet, [a] dramatist. And Pope Benedict, or Cardinal Ratzinger at the time, was certainly the greatest – one of the greatest, if not the greatest – theologian of the 20th century and maybe beyond. So I think the partnership there was extraordinary. You see several of the – not only of the teachings of Pope Benedict when he was pope, but I think the teachings of Pope John Paul, for example, Veritatis splendor and things like that. Many of the teachings, I think, certainly had the influence of Cardinal Ratzinger.

I think that what we see in him is a great sense of the personal relationship with Christ. If indeed, I hear his last words were, “Jesus, I love you,” and that is maybe the summary of his work. Jesus, I love you. And he used his head and heart and hands, his whole self, to proclaim that. And as a theologian, I think even people I've heard – I wasn't there, but I've heard people who saw him as a professor when he was a young professor – they sensed something different in him. He wasn't just an academic theologian. He was a man of incredible intellect, of massive learning, but of a deep piety and a deep “Jesus, I love you” was at the heart of his life, even when he was a great professor. And so I think that's the thing that touches the heart of the things he wrote and which will continue for millennia yet to come. That that sense, as he said, is not simply acceptance of a message, but it's an encounter with the person of Christ. And I think that is throughout all of his writings.

VR: And one final question. You yourself have served as a priest now for 50 years and for many years as a bishop and archbishop and now a cardinal. A pope always has an influence, not just for the universal Church, but for the particular churches. Can you talk about Pope Benedict's influence on the Church in Canada?

CC: Well, I think it's it's really remarkable that when he was in office as pope... I think his teachings guided us very much. And I think he had, I remember he had a great bit of wisdom for all bishops. And when we're talking about having, you know, some somebody once mentioned we should have some kind of a parliament of bishops in Rome to kind of govern the Church or whatever… And he said the best thing a bishop can do for the universal Church is to be a good bishop in his diocese. That's the best thing you can do for the universal Church. And I think that is that's I've always thought of that. I think all the bishops think of that, that if you try to serve faithfully, to teach clearly, I'll proclaim the faith with clarity and charity, then I think that's what Pope Benedict taught us how to do. Certainly with charity, a more gentle, loving man would be hard to find.

But also with clarity. And that's why we see, even in this time, as we mourn his death, we see different people, you know, attacking and so on, as you might expect. It's a tribute to him, a tribute to him. What a great tribute, that he who proclaimed the faith with clarity and charity is mourned by so many who love him and love him because he loved Jesus. “I love you.” He loved the Lord. But also people… he exercised his responsibilities. Ezekiel says the shepherd must speak the truth. And if he speaks the truth, that he is doing his duty before the Lord. And this gentle, gentle man spoke the truth. And that sometimes made people react. And that reaction is a tribute to his integrity and to his witness.

He was just an amazing man. Very, very amazing and a true model of a bishop and an exemplary pope. And I don't know whether he'll be named a Doctor of the Church or not, but certainly he should. But it's not for me to say. But even now, he is a teacher of the Church, and people like his books, like Introduction to Christianity, and many other things. He wrote a lot of little books. You know, he didn't write some great huge thing except maybe his volumes on Jesus of Nazareth – which is interesting, “Jesus, I love you.” But he guided us so beautifully. And that, I think, will continue to guide us in the centuries and millennia to come.

VR: And in just a couple of days, we'll be celebrating with Pope Francis the Requiem of Pope Benedict, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. Any final thoughts as we prepare for our final farewells?

CC: No, I think it's something where I think we just…. Well, the words that come to my mind are well done, good and faithful servant. That's who he was. He said, “I'm a coworker in the truth. I am a worker in the vineyard of the Lord. That's all he ever sought to be. And he did that faithfully all the days of his life, right to the end. And I think that's what we’re so sad to to lose him, although at his age, advanced age, we would expect it, obviously, but so deeply touched by his his holiness, his wisdom, which will be forever a blessing for the whole Church and for all of us.

Cardinal Collins: Were YOU threatened with "sanctions" if YOU did not support lockdowns and forced experimental injections?

You will not have heard about it from the degenerate media (unless perchance in glowing terms), and you will not have heard about it (unless likewise in glowing terms) by any number of soi-disant"traditionalist" Catholic websites and propagandists cheering on the western war-mongers. One has to ask: are these self-styled "influencers" receiving covert money from US and UK intelligence agencies to regurgitate media propaganda to ill-informed Catholics as to the real genesis of the tragedy in the Donbass? 

Catholics should take careful heed of the most recent actions just taken by Justin Trudeau and his self-identifying Banderite Deputy PM, Christia Freeland (a well-known fanatical Ukrainian nationalist and apologist for various Nazi-affiliated organizations during World War Two involved in genocidal extermination, including the notorious fascist militia, OUN-B) - namely to impose "sanctions" the the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church.

No opposition to this shameful deed will come from Canadian politicians, all eagerly clamouring for votes from a radicalized, Banderite Ukrainian diaspora. Freeland and other politicians (including the supposed anti-fascist New Democratic Party, in truth just another globalist-corporatist arm of collective West's failing attempt at world hegemony) regularly march with fascist organizations, such as the fascist organization, "Svoboda". It should be noted this sycophantic prostituting before fascists for votes is a cross-party problem, with the previous Stephen Harper regime giving in July 2015, $70,000 of taxpayers' money to a Calgary-based openly Banderite organization called, "Ukrainian Youth Centre".

That Banderite and self-serving politicians should support this "sanctioning" of the Patriarch should come as no surprise. But that we have not heard a peep from the Catholic bishops is a cause for alarm. If the Canadian government can "sanction" a major world religious leader, the head of the largest Orthodox church, what is there to stop them from "sanctioning" other major religious leaders, including Canada's bishops?  

It is legitimate to ask one's own Ordinary, in my case Cardinal Collins:

Were YOU threatened - directly or indirectly - with negative financial ramifications if you did not comply with lockdowns and/or endorsing and promoting the experimental shots? 

Were YOU bribed - either explicitly or implicitly - with financial benefits in exchange for endorsing lockdowns and/or endorsing and promoting experimental shots? 

 

 

Your Eminence, we await your reply. Catholics can draw their own conclusions as to government pressure on bishops to comply, as witnessed in the Cardinal's fearful exclamations in various videos, as well as the constant dwelling on financial arrangements with the government.  Indeed, the very serious issue of Your Eminence even "jumping the gun" to lock us down to show your pandering to the State was exposed by Vox Cantoris. You have yet to answer Catholics for your actions, let alone - dare I suggest - apologize for your cowardice and, quite frankly, cruelty. For what else is not only locking us out of our churches, but even locking up the cemeteries (with police blocking entrances no less!). 

May Canada's bishops follow the example of St. John Fisher in rendering unto Caesar ONLY what is Caesar's...

CARDINAL COLLINS: When are you going to address civil rights violations in Canada?

For TWO long years Canadians have suffered under interminable lock downs (which do NOT, and CANNOT work to stop the spread of an aerosol based virus), have suffered the gross indignity of wearing useless cloth and medical masks (which do NOT work, and CANNOT work to stop a virus even when bonded to mucus protein being approx 1 micron), have had their lives, businesses, and families ruined by a virus that CANNOT be stopped, but with which we must come to live with. As we have with the flu, common colds, and other derivative mRNA viruses. 

The proof that these draconian "public health measures" do NOT work is the explosion of omicron amongst the masked, vaccinated. The only truths flip-flop Fauci did say was in early 2020, when in an op-ed he predicted accurately Covid would be no worse than a bad flu season (he would know as the NIH funded the Wuhan lab); as well as going on record that masking doesn't work. Why did he do so? Because the literature said so. He only reversed his position when medicine became very quickly politicized. Medical masks are primarily to create psychological impressions for the public of of cleanliness and sterility, coupled with certain practical uses such as in blocking bodily fluids (such as during surgery). Yes, N95s are more effective, but neither applicable nor practicable on a mass scale, and not needed when faced with a virus that is acting like a live-attenuated vaccine. Besides, there was a deafening silence for over two years on N95s. Masking was, and remains all about visual effects to create terror, fear, mistrust, and "leprocizing" your family, friends. It was never about evidence-based health care. What happened was a perverted and highly organized knowledge "mistranslation" campaign undertaken with Machiavellian cunning and brutality; deliberately so for political ends. 

But EVEN WORSE was the forcing of useless masks on children (which will cause irreparable developmental and psychological harm) who are in no danger of Covid (nor, as has been proven in transmission  to granny), and the brutal lock down of long-term care facilities, depriving the most vulnerable of access to their families; many dying alone from starvation and euthanized. Many physically surviving, but suffering accelerated cognitive decline brought on by prolonged isolation. 

 

IN ALL OF THIS OUR BISHOPS HAVE BEEN SILENT; EVEN COLLUDING WITH THE LIES.

As such, Canadians had, and continue to suffer the most outrageous violations of their Charter rights. To add insult to injury, the bishops even one-upped the nauseatingly incompetent and corrupt public health officials (controlled as they are by Big Pharma) by locking us out of our churches; going so far as to become co-conspirators with the State in pushing experimental mRNA vaccines based on gene therapy delivery systems. Of which, no surprise if you actually read the peer-reviewed literature, was doomed to failure. Failure which the drug companies knew well in advance. mRNA viruses by definition mutate; no handle has ever been ever got on the common cold (mRNA) or on the seasonal flu (mRNA). So what made these idiots think they could solve another mRNA virus? Of course they knew it would not! Anyone who read the literature, based on past studies, knew these experimental vaccines would either be a complete failure, or give limited protection for a specific viral strain over a short (6-8 month period).

Against this background of lies and deception by government and corporations, the bishops of Canada have been seen to come firmly down on the side of the government and big business. We should, in a way, rejoice over Covid, as it has smoked out these men: their priorities and loyalties. No, Jesus Christ is but mirage, coffee table talk, an abstraction. He is NOT the living God for these men, supreme over the State! If He were they would not have locked us out, handed over the sacred rites to pagans, denied (and CONTINUE to deny, as they do in Quebec) the Sacraments to the faithful! How wicked is that?

Let us now turn to retired OPP Officer Ed Grenier for his thoughts and concerns over the grave abuses placed on us by the State (and I might add encouraged and joined by the corrupt "Gallican" church in Canada). Pray for this man and his fellow officers. They are doing more for Canada then these cowardly, wayward churchmen, who have become appendages of the State.

Yesterday, September 24th 2021, Cardinal Collins of Toronto in his Letter of September 24 and Covid Vaccination Policy de facto placed the Church in Toronto under the complete control of the State. 

This is what happens after years of allowing corruption to fester in the local Church.

This is what happens after years of allowing the local Church to be run by bureaucrats and moneybags. 

This is what happens when the local bishop is CEO of a corporation.

restrictions...remain in place especially those that impede our ability to welcome full and active participation in our sacramental celebrations. 

Rather than resist, he implicitly concedes complete State control over the Church by writing the following: 

We are heartened to see that the provincial government has not required proof of vaccination to enter a place of worship.

No mention that any such "requirement" would be against God's Law, the Natural Law, and civilly, unconstitutional  and a violation of the Charter. No mention that banning Catholics from churches would be opposed. And why would he? He didn't  say "NO, we will continue to distribute Holy Communion on the tongue" when threatened by the militantly pro-abortion public health of Toronto. And he remained silent in the face of keeping liquor and beer stores wide open, but churches firmly locked up. This is not leadership, this is cowardice.

Last year Catholics became aware that he handed over actual control over the distribution of the Most Holy Eucharist to Toronto City Council's pro-abortion public health "authorities". The Cardinal claimed that he was bullied and his  excuse was if he did not obey, they'd suppress ALL the Sacraments. In surrendering he also CEASED being the local supreme legislator in the Archdiocese in matters liturgical. That now belongs to Toronto Public Health. A Public Health when not busy determining how the Catholic Mass is to be said, is busing itself with promoting perverted sex.

Friends, the Mass is now a State sanctioned and approved Mass. Get that through your head. 

Mass attendance is State controlled. Get that through your head. 

Priests, employees, and volunteers, are now under State control. Get that through your head!

We also learnt yesterday that Collins has decreed that every unvaccinated parish employee and volunteer MUST undergo weekly (at minimum) testing at THEIR expense. EACH test is pegged at $40! Noncompliance with this edict will result in be dismissal and/or relieved of their duties. They will be cast in outer darkness as a leper. Despicable! This from the same Cardinal who eagerly took taxpayers money (which I strongly opposed, suggesting the Archdiocese divest itself of some of the hundreds of millions in investments it has) last year to pay employees to sit home during the lock downs; eager to show he was compliant and ever so thankful to Caesar's largesse. Needless to say, there was NO money for destroyed or crippled Catholic small business, for families forced into poverty. I hope the employees have come to realize that they are but pawns in the very nasty business of playing the harlot for Caesar.

Even priests in their daily ministry are NOT spared. In fact, Collins explicitly declares them as STATE EMPLOYEES. The Cardinal wrote:

Where PROVINCIAL LEGISLATION...prohibit unvaccinated clergy   (and others) from attending or    performing certain duties...clergy who have not provided proof of vaccination will need to make arrangement with other clergy...to carry out their PASTORAL MINISTRIES. 

To priests, sisters, and religious he also admitted:

Due to REQUIREMENTS from the PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT...your ability to serve the faithful will be SIGNIFICANTLY IMPEDED...

 

 Pray the Cardinal repent and stand up to the State that oppresses our Catholic brothers and sisters. The last time I checked, he had large images of Sts John Fisher and Thomas More in his Office. They would oppose ANY attempts by the State to take over the Church.  And what would Chesterton (whom Collins delights in quoting) think of a bishop who has surrendered the Church to be squeezed in the anvil of the State and Big Business?

"Like any man, he was coward enough to fear great force; 

but he was not quite coward enough to admire it".

I have long argued - based solely on the evidence - that the Toronto public health officials are anti-religious, with a purely materialistic view of the human person as a biological unit detached from the Transcendent. Cardinal Collins, a very well read and educated man is aware of this. Indeed, anyone perusing his sermons over the past two months becomes quickly aware that the archbishop is aware that great evil abounds, that perversion is rife, that immorality is glorified as virtue and so on.

Yet here we have on video the Cardinal claiming that these same purveyors of a materialistic life philosophy that is diametrically opposed to the Christian, are "very virtuous". People who even push the "unspeakable crime" of abortion (as it was defined in at Vatican II). 

How is this possible? How can we reconcile a highly intelligent and informed man spouting not just nonsense, but an obvious falsehood, promoting people who support the demonic practice of murdering the unborn as "very virtuous"?

What madness is this? 

I propose, dear friends, that the Cardinal lives in terror that these same "very virtuous" individuals will shut down the churches, suppress the Sacraments. The Cardinal also seemed to forget that these "very virtuous" officials are on his own admission bullies, threatening to not only suppress the Mass, but ban ALL the Sacraments. Not very virtuous, I would think. Last June - after a scandalous video surfaced -  Vox Cantoris carried a detailed analysis of its content. The Vox analyzed the issue of capitulation to the State and the grave implications of handing over to the State the sacred Liturgies and rites of the Church.

The Cardinal - no doubt pushed hard by his lawyers, accountants, handlers, and moneybags - has opted to perpetuate the very dangerous delusion that these objectively evil people are "very virtuous", in doing so labouring under the belief that they will leave the churches open. But this failed - as we have now seen aggressive action against churches over 14 months.  Catastrophically the Cardinal in handing over to godless sinners the "authority" to open and close churches, the "authority" to change and command our sacred rites is a complete surrender to the State. Besides fear (for Collins cringed in terror when hearing of a story of how a government agent shut a church that was "violating" orders issued unconstitutionally by these "very virtuous" officials), there is also the issue of money. Big money. Here we are talking about tens of millions of tax payers money being transferred to local dioceses who have registered as corporate "consumer services industries" to receive tax free status from Caesar. And this is where these laymen, these handlers take over. Hence we have the tragic phenomenon of a Prince of the Church dancing to the tune of not only evil, State officials, but also worldly laymen, whose primary concern is money. It seems that Collins has been checkmated, reduced to a mere puppet. 

As an aside: did the Catholic Church in Canada receive millions, or was made aware that millions could be withheld, or that tax free status could be revoked if the local Church in Canada did not acquiesce to become a government agent to promote abortion-linked, highly experimental, side-effect causing (including death),  long-term test lacking gene therapies  (mRNA "vaccines")? That there was a quid pro quo seems definitely to be in the affirmative. The seductive lure of money has resulted in agitprop being vomited out of pulpits across Canada, with Canada's bishops prostituting themselves for cash from the State. In the process selling the Church into bondage.

In contrast, as was pointed out to us in the Gospel last Sunday about the Good Shepherd, it is absolutely the duty before God and Man that every bishop uphold, teach, and DEFEND the Truth of Christ, His Church and His Morality. There is no compromise with evil. There can be no consideration about filthy lucre in defending the spotless Bride of Christ.

 

I reply to the Cardinal: make a stand! Follow St. John Fisher. 

Proclaim to the enemies of God that we are resuming Mass at 25% capacity effective immediately. Let the Premier and wretched John Tory (the disgraced mayor of Toronto) that you will be at the Cathedral steps tomorrow morning for Sunday Mass - as a GOOD SHEPHERD. Tell them to bring their SA brownshirts with them. You will be in good company: not only with the Apostles, but your heroes Sts. John Fisher and Thomas More.

"Fight the good fight of faith. Take firm hold on the everlasting life to which you were called when, in the presence of many witnesses, you made the noble profession of faith" (St. Paul to Timothy).

St. John Fisher: Guardian against the "Three Wolves"

 

Today, as we continue in ever greater lock downs, interdicts being imposed on the public celebration of Holy Mass, the surrender of the Sacred Rites to the State, the shuttering of churches, the near banishment of the Sacraments, the dissolution of the economic and social order by wayward politicians and public health officials, we should ask ourselves: what is the Catholic Church doing in the midst of this ruin? What are Her Pastors doing? Are they following the example of St. John Fisher or that of Thomas Cramner? To whom do they profess their loyalty to: God or Man?  

From St. Thomas Aquinas' Commentary on the Gospel of St. John:

For the good shepherd, who loves his flock, lays down his life for it, i.e., he exposes himself to dangers that affect his bodily life. But the evil shepherd, because he has no love for the flock, flees when he sees the wolf. 

Thus he says, he sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees. Here, the wolf is understood in three ways. First, for the devil as tempting: "What fellowship has a wolf with a lamb? No more has a sinner with a godly man" (Si 13:17). 

Secondly, it stands for the heretic who destroys: "beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves" (Matt 7:15); "I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock" (Acts 20:29).

Thirdly, it stands for the raging tyrant: "Her princes in the midst of her are like wolves" (Ez 22:27). 

Therefore, the good shepherd must guard the flock against these three wolves, so that when he sees the wolf, i.e., the devil tempting, the deceiving heretic and the raging tyrant, he can oppose him. 

Against those who do not, we read, "You have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the house of Israel" (Ez 13:5). Accordingly, we read of the evil shepherd that he leaves the sheep and flees: "Woe to my worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock" (Zech 11:17). As if to say: You are not a shepherd, but only appear to be one: "Even her hired soldiers in her midst are like fatted calves; yea, they have turned and fled together, they do not stand" (Jer 46:21).

An Open Letter to Cardinal Collins: KEEP THE CHURCHES OPEN FOR MASS !

 

Dear Cardinal Collins,

I wrote to you twice last year, and I am still awaiting your reply. I presume you are far too busy with your accountants, lawyers, and moneybags propping up the "Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation for the Diocese of Toronto" (listed with Bloomberg as a "Consumer Services" sub-industry). 

Since I do not expect you to reply, I have decided (once again) to compose an "Open Letter" to you, in the hopes that it will eventually reach you and your auxiliary bishops. I must say at the outset that over the past year this crisis has blown the cover off the Church in Toronto as the Mystical Body of Christ to really being a human services provider and registered "charity" under the corporate structure of a "Consumer Services" industry, where money and tax law is the driving consideration. God indeed does write straight with crooked lines.

    

 

With the imminent closure of our churches - as I write on April 16th - you must decide what you want to be: the nominal head of a corporate business and obedient underling to Caesar, or the local bishop of the Catholic Church. You must decide if obeying God is more important than obeying man. You must decide if Mass is more important than liquor store, beer stores, pot shops, and dare I say it - abortion "clinics". By this afternoon we will know if Premier Doug Ford has again "ordered" places of worship closed, and you have acquiesced, proclaiming it is for the "common good", and for the protection of our "brothers and sisters". Just like you boarded up every church last March even in the tiniest hamlets far north of the city. We were not even allowed in for private prayer. 

Surely it disturbs you, Your Eminence that whilst you pontificate about the "common good", you are silent about the ongoing "essential service" of the slaughter of the unborn in the wombs of their mothers? Are you also not in the least concerned that this coming Monday hundreds of thousands of Catholics will get up without a job, but the local abortion clinic will remain open? And if it does disturb you: why are you silent? And what of the explosion of mental health issues, the suicides, the substance abuse, the psychological abuse of our children in Catholic schools being told to wear masks when the medical evidence is clear that they do not need to do so. 

Why do you remain silent? Are you be told to keep quiet by your handlers? Are they advising obeisance to Caesar for filthy lucre?  Has the Catholic Church been prostituted for 30 pieces of silver?

 

Another thing: you have yet to apologize to us for your disgraceful silence (recommended to you by your accountants, lawyers, and moneybags?) when the churches were boarded up at Christmas. I ask you again: would you please apologize to Catholics for denying us the right to attend Mass? We await your apology.

Finally, please do not DARE to ask for any more money. Are you not aware of how much Catholics are suffering from lost employment, the ruination of their small businesses? You seemed to be only concerned with the well paid staff in your "Consumer Service" corporation. Instead of taking millions from Caesar for your "employees", and then topping it up with parish donations, will you take immediate steps to provide monies for faithful, practicing Catholics who will - once again - be loosing their jobs, being forced to close their small businesses? 

Perhaps you should be selling off some of your enormous real estate empire? Or cashing in on bonds and stocks? I noticed that in 2018 your corporation listed "charitable activities/programs" running just over 154 million. Can you supply us with a detailed account of how much money in 2020 went to Catholics who lost jobs? Can you provide us with details for emergency funding for unemployed Catholics in 2021? Let us not forget the "common good" you speak so much about. 

 

 

Within a few hours we will once again know if our churches are to be closed, our Catholic families and friends decimated with indiscriminate lock downs. We will also know once again where and with whom you stand. 

Will you stand up? Will you tell Premier Ford: "the churches remain open because the public worship of God at Mass is not only essential, it is more than essential. It is necessary and commanded of us". Will you tell the Premier that if he is serious about this virus, that he should immediately close the liquor and beer stores, the pot shops, and certainly the abortion mills? Will you do that Your Eminence? Will you have the courage? 

 

Cardinal Collins, you have in your Office two portraits for fighters for the Faith: St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More. What would they do? Do you believe that St. John would meekly board up his churches and impose a de facto interdict on the Mass? That he would allow dissident priests to shutter their churches for months on end so that the faithful cannot adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament? Do you believe that your lay handlers are following in the footsteps of St. Thomas? Or are they following the treacherous Richard Rich who betrayed the Church and his friend, driven by lust for money and power?

Cardinal Collins moments after speaking beautifully about the Sacred Heart, then informed Catholics they should take (even if we place abortion to one side, WHICH WE CANNOT!), experimental drugs (the most questionable being the mRNA and DNA gene therapies) for a virus that is not a danger to 99%+ of the population. An Open Letter to Cardinal Collins: We want Holy Mass - NOT a "Communion Service"!

Dear Cardinal Collins, 

Your Eminence, since the arrival on our shores of a virus from communist China, you have kept us out of our churches (yes, OURS, as we pay for them), you have - through many a wayward and cowardly priest - deprived the Faithful of Confession. You have also - violating the Law of the Church - suppressed the Traditional Catholic manner of reception of the Holy Eucharist, and (following the "orders" of the godless enemies of Christ who populate "public health" offices) "commanded" the Faithful receive the very God of the Universe, Our Divine Saviour Himself in the hands. This spiritually criminal order has not only deprived us of the right to receive Holy Communion in the proper manner, but also placed faithful priests in an intolerable situation of depriving them of their rights to give Holy Communion to Catholics in the state of Grace. These loyal sons of the Church are being abused, just as we are.

Your Eminence, you have claimed on a number of occasions, following the manipulative hysteria being pushed by the State authorities and the godless "public health" officials, that SARS-CoV2 is "rampaging through our community". But this is not true. This is a lie. We were told of a two-week lock down to (now turned 10 months and counting) "save lives". Yet the very authorities who have dragged two weeks into nearly a year, keep abortion clinics open and promote a variety of sexual perversions amongst the population for "safety" during a "pandemic". So much for protecting life, so much for a "pandemic". (We now hear that you have been joined by Bishop Crosbie who is also abusing the Faithful of his Diocese, depriving them of Holy Mass). 

The virus turned out (thanks be to God) nowhere remotely as dangerous as initially thought (or shall we say pushed by godless "public health" authorities). Indeed, the Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) is estimated to be between 0.1 - 0.3% (equivalent to a bad flu season), and hard facts demolish mushy propaganda. Sadly, this truth has not stopped the rebellion against God growing, and the godless authorities (supported by Christ-hating billionaires and their controlled media) have seized upon this huge lie to suppress the Catholic Church (and the churches and ecclesial communities of our separated brethren), constantly pushing this virus as the new Black Death.

Catholics are bound by God to not only tell the truth but to expose lies. Sadly, you have succumbed to this horrendous falsehood and deception, claiming that our churches are limited to no more than 10 people (irrespective of capacity), our Masses completely suppressed, because of the "common good", for saving lives. Yet, on the other hand, you have openly admitted that the virus has not been spread through the Faithful attending Mass. We have a contradiction here, Your Eminence: two plus two is four, yet two plus two is not four. 

Your Eminence, you cannot have it both ways. Either we Catholics are spreading the virus at Mass or we are not. If we are not - as you admit - why have you suppressed Holy Mass? Are you afraid of the State authorities? Or, are you afraid even more of your disobedient, modernist clergy who would not support you in defending Holy Mother Church against the godless State? Or is it a combination of the vile State and evil, parasitic dissenters? 

Perhaps the unfaithfulness of so many priests shines some light on why the Prayer to St. Michael after Mass was only a "suggestion" (and your capitulation to the State)? After all, is it not true that 95% did not take up your "suggestion" of saying the Prayer to St. Michael? Was what should have been an "order" (after all you "ordered" Mass suppressed  and in March our churches boarded up) turned into a "suggestion" because you are not really in control of the Archdiocese, and those rebellious priests would have rejected the Prayer? Have you been given "parameters" of operation by Rome, and/or your rich manipulative clerical advisers and canonical and secular lawyers? 

We faithful Catholics are asking: are you, dear Cardinal Collins really in charge, or are you a "lame duck" bishop?

As Vox Cantoris has noted, you (or someone controlling you?) have removed faithful priests from service and allowed dissenters - even active homosexuals - to continue in (if it can be called that!) priestly ministry. Yet, we have a Cardinal of contradiction. You, Your Eminence, are on the public record rightly calling the so-called "Reformation" as a "horror". You have also lamented (on the record) the catastrophic error of Holy Communion in the hand. Yet you allow it - whilst having the authority at the moment you took up your episcopal See to suppress it. Yet you have not. Why? The most charitable answer is that you, a bishop who has the Faith, prays the Rosary, holds the "Reformation" as a "horror", is not truly in command of the Archdiocese. What other solution to this mystery is there?

Dear Cardinal Collins: what evil force is controlling you? What hellish power has "racked" you to deny us the Holy Mass, when even the bungling Premier has not tried to suppress the Holy Sacrifice? Why have you taken one step further than the godless State authorities? 

We do not judge you, but we do judge your actions (or inaction) and they are wrong!  Nonetheless, we know not what we would do if in your position. We would hope that we had the courage to stand up to the State, to reopen the churches. To stand up to the dissenting priests, the perverted infiltrators, the modernists. 

Your Eminence: God is giving you the graces to stand up! You can become a "meddlesome priest"! Today is the day! Throw open the doors of our churches! Call the faithful to Mass, to Adoration, to reparation! Let us, with love for these deluded, godless people show why they should repent, convert and come to Christ!

Your Eminence, four and a half centuries ago hundreds of Catholics across the British Isles were done to death in the most diabolical, sadistic manner possible since the ancient Roman martyrs. Some were locked in the Tower in a "room" so small, they could neither stand up nor lie down, others were tied to statues and set alight, others were drowned, yet others were flogged to death, others racked so that literally their bodies were "stretched" an extra foot, others were hanged, drawn and quartered. St. Margaret Clitherow was tortured for days before being pressed to death on Good Friday, where she entered Heaven to meet the beautiful, Holy Face of Jesus. It was all for the unity of Holy Church and the Holy Mass. It was the Mass that mattered! 

Reopen the churches! Lead kindly Light! Be inspired Your Eminence by the Holy Spirit. Please remember why you wear red. Lead the separated brethren through apostolic example; God knows they need to be drawn back to Holy Mother Church. 

Your Eminence, may the holy martyrs who defended Christ, His Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and His Holy Church, grant you the courage to stand up to the evil filth in our local church, and to defend Holy Mother Church against the unjust attacks and persecution of the State. The Archdiocese of Toronto is abusing cognitively impaired people in its Holy Communion "Ban"

 

Cardinal Collins: more confused and desperate 

The ABUSE of Catholics continues unabated with this Sunday being the 180th day since we have been DENIED access to Holy Communion. It is NOT a question of health, as Catholics not under the direct control of Cardinal Collins ARE receiving Holy Communion within the municipal boundaries of the Greater Toronto Area. Further, eastern Catholics, as well as separated eastern brethren, are also receiving in the traditional manner without being abused by the Provincial Authorities or police. 

Let there be no mistake: this outrage is being committed to placate Toronto Public Health, who are being backed by Mayor John Tory and his fellow anti-Christian Council.  When liquor stores, beer stores, and pot shops remained open, Cardinal Collins rather than inform the City that churches would likewise remain open for private prayer and small gatherings for Mass, boarded up our churches lest he face the wrath of the downtown elite and media. "See you in court", and defending Christians' God-given rights do not seem to be high on the Chancery's agenda. 

But the ongoing outrage of denying Catholics rights goes even further. The Cardinal and the Chancery are grotesquely violating predominantly older adults with a cognitive impairment who know no other way of receiving Holy Communion but on the tongue. There are Catholics for whom Holy Communion has been the only way (and rightfully so) they have ever received Our Lord. They cannot cognitively understand and therefore this so-called edict of receiving on the hand is not feasible, for so ingrained is their manner of receiving Holy Communion.  

The result is that cognitively impaired adults are being DENIED Holy Communion. I know this for a FACT, for during the previous H1N1 Holy Communion Scandal my mother was DENIED Holy Communion. She wished to receive Our Lord. I informed her she would have to receive on the hand. She said "yes, yes", when I told her the manner of permitted reception. I went with her to the Communion Rail, but, her impairment was such that she knelt with her tongue out, and after efforts my efforts  to make her understand the changes, he then passed her by like some public sinner. Truly God blessed her on that day for her fidelity to Christ.

This grave evil will have to answered by Cardinal Collins, his "advisors", and the cowardly priest. Pray they repent of their sins, for they will answer to Christ as to why they denied her and no doubt countless others. 

Dear Catholic friends: raise your prayers up today for our beloved elders. Many of whom are not even with family, but locked up in a LTC facility. Contrary to the lies that "we are all in this together", these poor souls suffer in isolation and loneliness. 

Catholic priests: your oath of obedience to the Cardinal does not extend to unlawful and evil commands. I encourage you to cease your cowardice and defend the rights of Catholics.
