HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ~ Today marks ONE YEAR when the Archdiocese of Toronto rendered unto Caesar what was God's

So it was, that ONE YEAR ago to the very day that we heard the terrible news that EVERY church in the Archdiocese of Toronto was ordered closed. Even tiny churches in hamlets hours north of the city were boarded up. Liquor, beer, drugs, and abortion continued, but there was NO MASS, and now, NO PRAYER, NO ADORATION. We were thrown out of our churches by our pastors, who remained SILENT on the obscene incongruity of abortion continuing apace whilst the churches were locked tight. To THIS day our pastors remain silent; acquiescent pawns of the Absolutist State.

THEY ABANDONED OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IN THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT

As such, we call upon all Catholics to make a Visit to the Blessed Sacrament before Easter to pray in reparation for the blasphemies and outrages committed by our hierarchy and priests in abandoning Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Since that frightful day we have seen churches boarded up for months on end, the surrender of the Sacred Liturgy to the State, outrageous violations of our rights to publicly worship God, and finally, the local Church being prostituted to Caesar as a "propaganda pulpit" for the pushing of abortion-linked gene therapies on an entire population.

St. Joseph's Day ~ "let us go forward in courage under his protection"

St. Joseph, Patron of Canada

March 19th is one of the most special days in the Church in Canada. It marks that day on which we celebrate our Patron saint. Most of the country, sadly, will ignore him. Let us not. May St. Joseph bless each and every one of you.

St. Joseph's Oratory. Montreal

St. Joseph was just, he was immersed in the Word of God, written, transmitted in the wisdom of his people, and precisely in this way was prepared and called to know the Incarnate Word - the Word who came among us as a man - and predestined to care for, to protect this Incarnate Word; this remains his mission forever: to care for the Holy Church and Our Lord. We entrust ourselves in this moment to his care, we pray that he help us in our humble service. We go forward in courage under this protection.

What Cardinal Collins is NOT telling you about "Vaccines" ~ How the Catholic Church has been co-opted by the Pharma-Industrial Complex

Cardinal Collins moments after speaking beautifully about the Sacred Heart, then informed Catholics they should take (even if we place abortion to one side, WHICH WE CANNOT!), experimental drugs (the most questionable being the mRNA and DNA gene therapies) for a virus that is not a danger to 99%+ of the population. We have the CDC's word for it:

The following is the Cardinal urging Catholics to take these experimental, abortion-linked drugs."I strongly urge EVERYONE to get vaccinated...", the Cardinal says.

Everyone, Your Eminence? Infants, children, youth, women with child, healthy people?

These are serious questions about these experimental gene therapies that CANNOT be scoffed off. Even more so, when there is a huge push to inject them into young, healthy organisms who are in no more danger from Covid than Influenza. Yet the Bishops of Canada are hell bent on coming out as Agents of the government and the Pharma-Industrial Complex.

For a full report and analysis of the moral implications of Cardinal Collins' decision to promote these unethical and dangerous "vaccines", I urge all readers to visit Vox Cantoris.

It should be noted that the betrayal of the pro-life movement is not just amongst Catholics, but also amongst the separated brethren. The following video, though focusing on leading American protestants who have betrayed the pro-life cause, applies equally to Cardinals and bishops who urge their faithful to take these abortion-linked gene therapies. Their questions could easily be asked of any bishop. Indeed, of the Pope himself.

Cardinal Collins you can do better than being an apparatchnik for the Absolutist State. The very people you decry for pushing euthanasia on Canada, you trust with telling us the truth about not only Covid (which they are NOT), but also about these "safe" and "harmless" drugs (again, which they are NOT. Otherwise why has the Pharma-Industrial Complex had legislation passed excluding them from any legal liability in case of injury or death?).  C'mon, man!!

False Ecumenism and perverted Religious Liberty : Two Daggers pointed at the Heart of the Church

Pope Pius XI

For decades the churchmen were not teaching what has always been taught. To accommodate their corruption they began to obfuscate the Liturgy.
No where is this more reflected as in the pre-1955 Holy Week Liturgy.

It was "offensive" to unbelieving men, so it had to be changed. So we had the tri-fold surrender to Protestantism, Judaism, and Freemasonry, which logically opened the door to false ecumenism, and the de facto rejection of the Catholic Church as the exclusive path of Salvation. It also led logically to pandering to religions that had their origins in paganism.

The only question any man has to answer is the the question asked by Our Lord: "Who do you say that I am?". To which Peter, the first Pope answered, "Thou art the Messiah, the Son of the Living God". (Matthew 16:15-16).

He who denies Jesus Christ came in the Flesh is of the spirit of Antichrist (John 1:4:3).

In the face of this calamity of the acceptance of a false ecumenism we need to follow St Teresa of Avila: "let nothing disturb you". As such, we must be aware of the Truths of the Faith, and hold fast to them. We will be betrayed, even by fellow Catholics, who will accuse us of bigotry for exclusively holding to the Faith. But we can reply to these people, calmly, soberly, in the words of St. Peter when he told the unbelieving Jews: "there is no name under Heaven by which we are saved, but that of Christ Jesus". No other Name. No exceptions. God rewarded Peter's trust, for on that day 5000 men alone were converted.

During this dark time, be peaceful, be calm. Let us pray for our bishops, and especially for Pope Francis.

From Pope Francis' interview with La Croix. As you read the following, note the present Pope's obsession with (a misguided and false) understanding of being a son or daughter of God, and of "personal dignity". Only those baptized in Christ Jesus are brothers and sisters. Yes, on a merely natural level we are all related, but we are NOT brothers and sisters with those who do not profess Jesus Christ. Those who do not profess Jesus Christ debase what should be their only true dignity. After all, Jesus Christ is God, He is the Creator of the Universe, He is Universal King by His being Divine and shedding His Blood for us. No man can have dignity and freedom as God wants it, unless he believe and be baptized. No man, no exceptions.

States must be secular. Confessional states end badly. That goes against the grain of History. I believe that a version of laicity accompanied by a solid law guaranteeing religious freedom offers a framework for going forward. We are all equal as sons (and daughters) of God and with our personal dignity. However, everyone must have the freedom to externalize his or her own faith. If a Muslim woman wishes to wear a veil, she must be able to do so. Similarly, if a Catholic wishes to wear a cross. People must be free to profess their faith at the heart of their own culture not merely at its margins.

From Pius XI's Encyclical, Quas Primas.

Pius XI:

It would be a grave error, on the other hand, to say that Christ has no authority whatever in civil affairs, since, by virtue of the absolute empire over all creatures committed to him by the Father, all things are in his power... If We ordain that the whole Catholic world shall revere Christ as King, We shall minister to the need of the present day, and at the same time provide an excellent remedy for the plague which now infects society. We refer to the plague of anti-clericalism, its errors and impious activities. This evil spirit, as you are well aware, Venerable Brethren, has not come into being in one day; it has long lurked beneath the surface. The empire of Christ over all nations was rejected. The right which the Church has from Christ himself, to teach mankind, to make laws, to govern peoples in all that pertains to their eternal salvation, that right was denied. Then gradually the religion of Christ came to be likened to false religions and to be placed ignominiously on the same level with them.

These "ecumenical" delusions and evils did not appear in 1962, but had been around much earlier. One well known 19th churchman, Felicite de Lamennais, did not impress Pope Gregory XVI, who replied with Mirari vos. It was followed by (to mention just two examples) Pius IX's Quanta cura and The Syllabus of Errors. Those pronouncements were a source of embarrassment to a significant number of bishops and laity who were already compromising the Faith as liberals.

In the United States, the bishops went out of their way to downplay and "reinterpret" the Syllabus, whilst paradoxically, various anti-Catholic sects knew very well what it meant. Already those cowardly bishops believed being a "good" American was as important as being a good Catholic. They believed in Masonic "religious liberty" more than the Truth of Jesus Christ. They believed the lie that society is founded on liberty, and not truth. Along with the apostate "rapture" evangelical cults, they presided over the moral collapse of the United States, brought her to her knees, and marked her out for the grave of history. It is not just the United States; the same grotesque play, with local variations, is played out in every formerly Christian nation. The Popes were proven correct.

It was therefore no coincidence that American prelates played a major role in forging what would become the dagger at the heart of the Church: the ambiguous "Nostra Aetate". Two generations of Catholics would be brought up officially on what most Catholics unofficially already believed: "Catholicism - yes it is the true religion - but other religions are good too, or have good in them ". The problem is not with the good in the false religions, it is the bad. Most reject Our Lord's Divinity. A few reject the Church. They may well strike a few "good notes on the piano, but they play far too many wrong notes. It is this pandering to wrong notes that led the churchmen from "from Nostra Aetate to Pachamama". Pachamama is but a logical consequence of the fantasy that all religions are a different path to God. The fact is, different paths, lead men to different destinations.

We have Our Lord Jesus Christ's word on it: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me". John 14:6.

Pray that the Pope and the bishops will clarify the dangerous errors of religious liberty and false ecumenism.

Did Cardinal Collins just call out the Toronto Catholic School Board for DENYING Jesus Christ? YES HE DID!

Cardinal Collins once again raised the issue of those who profess "false gospels that are based upon a vision of Christianity that is just not real".

It is inconceivable that Cardinal Collins is unaware of the Board's latest vote last Thursday March 4th, when in a 12-0 act of cowardice and betrayal, voted to  established an outreach to - NOT those with same-sex attraction - but using the language of gender ideology, to those of the “LGBT community”; and then in a 9-3 vote, openly rejected the Gospels for a "false gospel" by rejecting a delegation from a father of children who quoted from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. In rejecting the Catechism, the treacherous trustees rejected the Teaching Authority of the Church.

As he ended his homily the Cardinal then referenced amongst the great evils spreading across Canada, that of gender ideology, and the transsexual movement, and the denial of the reality of "male and female He created them" (Gen 5:2; Mt 19:4; Mk 10:6).

Cardinal Collins:

"We've got a strange thing on conversion therapy, which is not really about that. It is about other things. We've all kinds of forces around us in this world where black is white, and down is up...".  "Whoever is not with me is against me, whoever does not gather with me, scatters"(Matt 12:30). Thus says the Lord.

Ite ad Joseph

In a short while, the Universal Church will recognize the great Solemnity of St. Joseph, the foster-father of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The greatest and highest saint after the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph enjoyed particular graces during his earthly life as a result of his especial relationship to Jesus. He is recognized as the Great Protector of the Church, since he was the Head of the Holy Family.

Canada has long considered St. Joseph as one of her great patrons. As with the Universal Church, he is called to protect Canada. Therefore, as Canadians, it is a laudable practice to give homage to his patronage by devoutly reciting the Seven Sorrows and Seven Joys of St. Joseph in the nine days preceding March 19th. Pius VIII, on December 9th 1819, granted an indulgence of 300 days each for the nine days preceding March 19th for the faithful who recite this devotion.

THE SEVEN DOLOURS AND SEVEN JOYS.

i. St. Joseph, pure spouse of most holy Mary, the trouble and anguish of thy heart were great, when, being in sore perplexity, thou wast minded to put away thy stainless spouse: but this joy was inexpressible when the archangel revealed to thee the high mystery of the Incarnation.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, we pray thee comfort our souls now and in their last pains with the consolation of a well-spent life, and a holy death like unto thine own, with Jesus and Mary at our side.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

ii. St. Joseph, Blessed Patriarch, chosen to the office of Father of the Word made Man, the pain was keen that thou didst feel when thou didst see the Infant Jesus born in abject poverty; but thy pain was changed into heavenly joy when thou didst hear the harmony of angel-choirs, and behold the glory of that night when Jesus was born.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, we pray thee obtain for us, that, when the journey of our life is ended, we too may pass to that blessed land where we shall hear the angel-chants, and rejoice in the bright light of heavenly glory.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

iii. St. Joseph, who wast ever most obedient in executing the law of God, thy heart was pierced with pain when the Precious Blood of the Infant Saviour was shed at His Circumcision; but with the Name of Jesus new life and heavenly joy returned to thee.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, obtain for us, that, being freed in our life from every vice, we too may cheerfully die, with the sweet Name of Jesus in our hearts and on our lips.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

iv. St. Joseph, faithful Saint, who wast admitted to take part in the redemption of man; the prophecy of Simeon foretelling the sufferings of Jesus and Mary caused thee a pang like that of death; but at the same time his prediction of the salvation and glorious resurrection of innumerable souls filled thee with a blessed joy.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, help us with thy prayers to be of the number of those who, by the merits of Jesus and his Virgin Mother, shall be partakers of the resurrection to glory.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

v. St. Joseph, watchful Guardian, friend of the Incarnate Son of God, truly thou didst greatly toil to nurture and to serve the Son of the Most High, especially in the flight thou madest with Him unto Egypt; yet didst thou rejoice to have God Himself always with thee, and to see the overthrow of the idols of Egypt.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, obtain for us grace to keep far out of the reach of the enemy of our souls, by quitting all dangerous occasions, that so no idol of earthly affection may any longer occupy a place in our hearts, but that, being entirely devoted to the service of Jesus and Mary, we may live and die for them alone.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

vi. St. Joseph, angel on earth, who didst so wonder to see the King of heaven obedient to thy bidding, the consolation thou hadst at His return was disturbed by the fear of Archelaus, but nevertheless, being reassured by the angel, thou didst go back and dwell happily at Nazareth, in the company of Jesus and of Mary.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, obtain for us, that, having our hearts freed from idle fears, we may enjoy the peace of a tranquil conscience, dwelling safely with Jesus and Mary, and dying at last between them.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

vii. St. Joseph, example of all holy living, when, though without blame, thou didst lose Jesus, the Holy Child, thou didst search for Him for three long days in great sorrow, until with joy unspeakable thou didst find him, who was as thy life to thee, amidst the doctors in this Temple.
By this thy sorrow and thy joy, we pray thee with our whole heart so to interpose always in our behalf, that we may never lose Jesus by mortal sin; and if (which God avert) we are at any time so wretched as to do so, that we pray thee to aid us to seek Him with such ceaseless sorrow until we find Him, particularly in the hour of our death, that we may pass from this life to enjoy Him for ever in heaven, there to sing with thee His divine mercies without end.
Pater, Ave, and Gloria.

Ant. Ipse Jesus erat incipiens quasi annorum triginta, ut putabatur filius Joseph.

V. Ora pro nobis, sancte Joseph.
R. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

Oremus.
Deus, qui ineffabili providentia beatum Joseph sanctissimae Genitricis tuae sponsum eligere dignatus es; praesta quaesumus, ut quem protectorem veneramur in terris, intercessorem habere mereamur in coelis. Qui vivis et regnas in saecula saeculorum. R. Amen.

Ant. Jesus Himself was about thirty years old, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph.

V. Pray for us, holy Joseph.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray.
O God, who in Thine ineffable providence didst vouchsafe to choose blessed Joseph to be the husband of Thy most holy Mother; grant, we beseech Thee, that we may have him for our intercessor in heaven, whom on earth we venerate as our holy protector. Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.

Cardinal Collins' proposed "letter" to MPPs pleading to reopen churches is an absolute disgrace!

A bowing Cardinal as he pleads with his new overlords: the "public health official"

Dear long-suffering, betrayed, and abandoned Catholics of the Archdiocese of Toronto. A so-called "letter" (reproduced below)  to "amplify your concerns" about the egregious violations of our religious freedoms by the Doug Ford government has been proposed by Cardinal Collins one year after they were taken away.

Where was Cardinal Collins a year ago? Busy locking up our churches

Simply put, the proposed letter is an absolute disgrace, and a grave insult to Catholics who have had to struggle through this year of lies, deception, and abuse. The "letter" is a nauseating mixture of distortions and pathetic fawning. It would have the Catholic Church on her knees begging for a bone from the very people who stole our God given rights (with - we need to remind ourselves - the active cooperation of the Cardinal and his Chancery agents who seem to control him like a puppet). This "letter" is profoundly ungodly, as it asks us to accept lies as truth, and to perpetuate these lies.

Finally, you will notice one last thing: the words "God", "Jesus" etc. are totally absent. The "letter" is entirely horizontal and secular. It could be written by an atheist. Worship necessitates God. How interesting that He is completely absent. If you want a real letter to our politicians, go and read Vox Cantoris.

Cardinal Collins refused LAST Summer to petition to re-open our churches

Commentary on the "letter" is in RED.

Dear MPP is named,

I want to thank you for your service to the province [what service, for agreeing to lock us down, and destroy our economy and violate our religious and civil liberties?]. I know the past year has involved long days and time away from loved ones [NO. Queens Park hours were reduced, and besides the MPPs continued to draw on their salaries whilst businesses were shuttered up]. Thank you.[FOR WHAT? Allegedly doing what you are paid for? Or, shuttering our society, our places of worship?]

The pandemic has been tough on all of us [NO. It has been the lock downs, the destruction of businesses, families etc.] and we understand the need for restrictions to protect ourselves and others [NO. We do not understand nor do we support locking down Ontario for a virus that is no more lethal than a bad flu season]. Yet I can’t help but feel [notice how it is all reduced to "feelings" rather than facts?] that faith communities are not being treated equitably when I look at the latest restrictions implemented by the province [dear oh dear, what forthright language!]

In the “lockdown” (grey) regions, retailers can now open at 25% capacity yet places of worship are limited to 10 people maximum. It doesn’t matter whether the church, temple, mosque or synagogue can normally accommodate 150 or 1,500, they can only have 10 people present. [Finally, some objective truth is introduced. Something we - and the Cardinal - knew LAST March. So why has he been silent for ONE YEAR?]

I know what my own faith community [sic] has done to protect me [NO. I protected myself with common sense as I would in any bad flu season] and others during the pandemic [NO. My "faith community" did NOT protect my small business (now bankrupt, and my employees out of work), my family and children's peace, my parish priest under orders to violate his conscience, my relatives, friends and fellow citizens. The Archdiocese has been an active, EVEN "proactive" collaborator with the State to lock us down, as Cardinal Collins informed us in one of his video conferences].

It’s been incredible [It certainly has been "incredible". The local Church selling out to keep tax free status  and avoid being excoriated by the pro-lock down elitist corporate controlled media]– hundreds of volunteers, cleaning between services ["services". NO! We have the Mass] masks, distancing, all done responsibly. So why are they being penalized? [Because "public health officials" who are godless deem worship of the Divine unessential. Why ask a stupid question, when you know the answer?]

I urge you to immediately address this unfair approach ["Unfair"? Is that all it is? NO. It is outrageous, it is a VIOLATION of our religious and civil liberties. It is tyranny]. I believe our places of worship provide essential services [Is that all? And to further reduce the worship of God to language used to describe a commercial transaction?]. At minimum, they should be given an opportunity to open with a percentage of capacity, whether it is in grey zones now or when considering any restrictions in the future.[NO. This argument presupposes the right public of religious worship is granted by the State. It is NOT].

Please amplify [Is that all?]  my concerns ["Concerns". Is that all they are?] in conversation with your colleagues and Premier Ford.[My, my such obeisance].

I very much look forward to hearing from you on this important matter [ Dear oh dear, are we really that deluded?

Cardinal Collins sheepishly pleads with Toronto Catholics: "...IF YOU WISH join in expressing your concerns" about government restrictions on public worship

This morning at the conclusion of Mass in the empty St. Michael's Cathedral (cap.1,500), Cardinal Collins FINALLY breached the issue that has been concerning us profoundly since LAST MARCH (and NOT since November, as the Cardinal noted).

Well, it took ONE YEAR for Cardinal Collins to finally publicly raise the reality that the Government of Ontario, along with various municipal governments, and the attendant "public health authorities" are conducting a campaign against religious freedom and civil liberties. Let me repeat that again: it took ONE FULL YEAR

But it was all done rather sheepishly, timidly, and qualified: "So anyway I would er, I would ask you to check our website IF YOU WISH; join in expressing your concerns".

No sense of urgency here. No bold declaration here. And NO, Cardinal Collins the "public health authorities" are not "trying to diligently serve us...". Tell that to those who have lost their jobs, businesses, become gravely ill. Tell that to those souls who have committed suicide. No, these pro-abortion, pro-sexting, pro-masturbation officials are hardly "serving us". They have created massive, massive damage to our country and society. You should be condemning their hypocrisy in claiming to be saving lives yet all the while pushing abortion. SHAME ON YOU!

A proclamation was needed, without pandering to individuals who threatened to suppress all the Sacraments if you did not obey their evil demands. But you capitulated and handed over control of our Sacred rites.

Today you should have done two things:

1. APOLOGIZED FOR YOUR INACTION OVER THE LAST YEAR

2. STOOD UP TO FORD WITH AN ULTIMATUM:

"Premier Ford if the restrictions are NOT lifted immediately, the churches will be opened tomorrow for Mass. I am here at the Cathedral, you know where to find me if you wish to come with your police and arrest me".

Cardinal Collins: Do you really think that oafish Premier would come and arrest you, a 75 year old man? At worst he would capitulate and you would be mocked and excoriated by the downtown elitist and atheist media as a wicked old man who is spreading a virus and killing people. Perhaps word would get back to Rome and they would retire you early. Not a bad deal, "eh"? After all, unlike St. John Fisher you would be only facing mockery and retirement, and not beheading.

Call me  a cynic Your Eminence, but I am wondering what the real motivation behind all this is. I suspect that the same lawyers, moneybags, and "advisors" have told you the bad news about the loss in - you guessed it - money. They want the churches open for Easter, so they can start digging deeply into the abused faithfuls' pockets. But I have news for you: the faithful are aware that you are ONE YEAR TOO LATE.

The Cross is steady while the world turns

Christ of St. John of the Cross, Salvador Dali

Without Christ and His Crucifixion, we would not even have a chance at salvation. He did it for each one of us.
