The Catholic-Anglican Dialogue Delusion: how can Catholics dialogue with those who promote an "ideology of evil"?

It is, of course, essential that the doctrine should be clearly presented in its entirety. Nothing is so foreign to the spirit of ecumenism as a false irenicism, in which the purity of Catholic doctrine suffers loss and its genuine and certain meaning is clouded.
Unitatis Redintegratio

On November 9th, at St. James', the Anglican Cathedral in Toronto,a new initiative was launched by the ARC (Anglican-Roman Catholic) and ARC-B (Anglican -Roman Catholic bishops) dialogue of Canada to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Second Vatican Council on ecumenism. A glossy brochure (who knows how much it cost) on this initiative has been printed by the CCCB and the event was broadcast (thankfully) to a sparsely populated congregation. Those in attendance, were, from viewing the Salt and Light broadcast, predominantly elderly, white men. Absolutely no representation of the future of the Church.

The "Rt. Rev Linda Nicholls"
Yet, who exactly are our dialogue partners? Sadly, a sect that is about to acknowledge "another ideology of evil (St. Pope John Paul II, referring to the abomination of "same-sex marriage").  One of the presiders at the "prayer service" was one, the "Rt. Rev Bishop" Linda Nicholls. Who exactly is this bishopess? From what I have gleaned, "Bishop" Nicholls is an advocate of so-called "same sex marriage", and is on the Canadian Church of England's commission for changing its 21st canon to accommodate this abomination.

However, Bishop Nicholls endorsed the plan put forward by the Diocese of Toronto’s House of Bishops last year that formally instituted rites for the blessing of same-sex unions. (source)

Rightly, did our sainted Pope, St. John Paul II identify this as an "ideology of evil".

How can Catholic bishops dialogue with the proponents of evil? Only in calling out this evil and calling its advocates to repentance. Sadly, this was not done, nor will be done. This leads me to another point: it is wrong to mislead Anglicans that any unity is possible. We are dealing with a sect that has overthrown the sacramental system, perverted the priesthood, and is now actively demolishing marriage. The Church of England is a broken cistern from which the waters of life have long since vanished.

The Adulterist and Homosexualist Parties are afraid of the power of the Catholic Blog

Prior to the rise of the internet, information for Catholics was restricted to the Archdiocesan newspaper, print magazines, journals, and the like. It all involved cash and manpower. Not any more. Now, a small handful, or even one or two intrepid, hard working people can have a reach that is as large or even far larger than, for example an Archdiocesan newspaper.

With the freeing up of information via the internet, especially through social media and blogs, Catholics are getting access to information that would have been impossible before. Take the recent Synod on the Family. The real truth about what happened and  how it happened only became available from "unofficial" Catholic sources. Catholics did not learn from the local diocesan newspaper that the Synod was manipulated, nor that the passages on homosexuality from the interim relatio were inserted surreptitiously by Archbishop Bruno Forte, nor that these same passages were objectively evil (indeed they were told by "official" Catholic agencies that these passages were to be applauded), nor that giving Holy Communion to a divorced and civilly remarried person (an adulterer) is a very bad thing etc. etc.

They did not learn that, for example, the Polish bishops Conference rigorously opposes any compromise with the schemes and plots of the Adulterist and Homosexualist parties. Along with a number of other distinguished prelates, the Polish bishops have been one of the few voices in the Church consistently pointing out the evils of homosexuality and the giving of Holy Communion to unrepentant adulterers. As such, the strong words of Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki will not make their way into the "official" English language Catholic press, dominated, as they are by the innovators. How many are aware that the Archbishop said these very words: "at the Synod there were bishops who wished to erase the truth". Will this be tweeted by America Magazine, or Salt and Light? I think not.

It is this revealing of the truth that is causing prominent, and not so prominent churchmen to become - so it would seem - quite distressed when the light is shone on the true intentions of the Adulterist and Homosexualist Parties within the Church, who wish to overturn doctrine, all the while claiming not to do so. It is possible that this motivated Fr. Thomas Rosica's recent strange tweet? One can only guess.  We do know that his organization, supports the positions held by the interim relatio (c.f. The Agenda, Vatican Values). We also know he reads La Stampa; he may well have read that this blog featured prominently in a recent article.
And why did we do so? Simply because Catholic "officialdom" did not deem it necessary (censorship, in other words) to reveal to Catholics what the Head of the Congregation of the Doctrine and Faith had to say; because Cardinal Muller opposes the Adulterist and Homosexualist parties. The news spread on the web, building a pressure that eventually major news agencies (including in Germany) carried the news via an exclusive English language translation provided by this blog.

As such, be prepared for an increase in angry, incoherent outbursts from distressed churchmen, who realize that they no longer control information, that Catholics will not be cowed by a neopagan, clericalist, ecclesiastical clique. The anger over the next few months, from these churchmen - mark my words - will become more hysterical and shrill. As their gnostic schemes and plots are exposed, their anger and hostility will be laid bare for all to see. They will realize that Catholics have no intention of offering incense to the idols of cohabitation, of adultery, or homosexuality.

Catechesis is vital: God is Doctrine

There is an excellent website where you can turn to superb resources for catechesis. God is Love: but this Love is Truth, not sentiment. God is "Doctrine". Without doctrine, one cannot draw near to His Love. I personally endorse The Canadian Catechist.

BREAKING NEWS: Pope Francis speaks of "the holy Pope John Paul"; his role in overthrowing the Berlin Wall

From today's Angelus - November 9, 2014. These words by the Holy Father have been carefully edited - incorrectly - by the Holy See Press Office. You will not see them in English.

Twenty five years ago, on 9 November 1989 the Berlin Wall fell, which for so long divided the city into two parts and was a symbol of the ideological division of Europe and the world. The fall was unexpected, but it was made possible by the long and arduous efforts of many people who fought for it, prayed and suffered, some of them even to the sacrifice of his own life. A special (or notable)  role was played in all this by the holy Pope John Paul II*. Let us pray to God for help and cooperation of all people of good will to increasingly disseminate the culture of community, able to overthrow all divisions, that still divide the world, that no more innocent people were persecuted and even killed because of their beliefs and professed religion. Where is a wall, there is also there the closure of the heart. Bridges are needed, not walls!

*: The Holy See Press Office has this incorrectly translated as it as "St. John Paul II". Wrong. Absolutely wrong. The Polish is distinct: the Supreme Pontiff referred to the sainted Pope as "the holy Pope John Pual II". What does this mean? It infers that Pope Francis is referring to our saint as a "holy man"; not referring to a future event of canonization. In other words: John Pual is holy : and his works are holy. Especially as "pope of the family" (e.g. Familiaris consorio).

International Day of Solidarity for the Persecuted Church

Today has been designated the day upon which Christians pray and remember the persecuted Church throughout the world. In Poland, this is being taken very seriously by the hierarchy, as well as Catholic media. You will not hear about these things in the "West", imbued as it is with "radical neopagan ideology", and the "spirit of compromise" with the things of this world... shame on the bishops who have and remain silent, shame.

Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB., accuses unnamed persons of being "angry...filled with venom and hate..." towards those who use Latin in the Church

Serious indeed are public accusations by a Catholic priest against persons unknown for being "angry", and filled with "venom and hate".  Fr. Thomas Rosica, CSB, has published a tweet today claiming that such anonymous persons are directing this "venom and hate" towards towards those who see Latin as a "unifying force".

There are many, many groups in the Church that see Latin as a "unifying force". The first that comes to mind is Una Voce. Indeed, this organization was recently in Rome and received a letter from the "Pope Emeritus". Is it towards this group that Fr. Rosica sees the "venom and hate"?

On the local Toronto area, the most prominent promoter of Latin as a unifying force is the Toronto Traditional Mass Society - Una Voce Toronto. I was blessed to attend two recent Masses (Our Lady of the Rosary Solemn High Mass and the All Souls Requiem Mass) organized by this distinguished group. The liturgy was outstanding, the sermons delivered were extraordinary. If only each and every Sunday Mass could be so heavenly and dignified. Perhaps this group has also been victimized with "venom and hate"?

From my experience, and observations, any "venom and hate" directed towards those who see Latin as a "unifying force" is coming from those in clerical power within the Church, not those who quietly seek to worship in the manner of their ancestors.

One finds it touching that Fr. Rosica has suddenly developed a paternal interest towards those who attend the Latin Mass. This, given his previous attitude towards those who use Latin as a "unifying force; for example, his dismissal of them as, "Pelegians":

"They seek a purely disciplinary solution to all of the Church's problems; through the restoration of outdated forms and manners, the usage of English [Latin?] language, incomprehensible to most of us who speak English. On a cultural level, it is no longer meaningful..."

Or, is it something totally different? Is it really that a number of blogs - including this one - have spoken out forcefully regarding the "radical neopagan ideology" that was insinuated into the interim relatio? Is his tweet really about trying to intimidate or frighten us? Or, is it just his own frustration and anger? But, that is his own private drama. For us, we will continue to do what Bishop Schneider asks: to advocate what the Church has always taught, and to resist those - even if they be priest or bishop - who would ask us to compromise and offer incense to the idols of adultery or homosexuality.

On a final note:

If any Catholic who attends Mass in Latin has experienced "venom and hate" directed towards him or her, because they see Latin as a "unifying force", can they please contact this blog via the combox. Hatred and bigotry towards those who attend the Latin Mass must stop!

BREAKING NEWS: Archbishop Gadecki: there are those who would make Familiaris Consortio "ancient history"

H. G. Stanislaw Gadecki being interviewed by "Niedziela"
In an interview with Fr. Mariusz Frukacz of "Niedziela" a major Polish language Catholic news agency, His Grace, Stanislaw Gadecki has these words to say about the recent of the Synod of the Family, during a forum on Catholic education life in Czestochowa, Poland:

"One must remember, that there is no one who can obtain control over the Holy Spirit".

"We are to be open to the Gospel, and not the media, in the manner in which they would wish. The Church in remaining faithful to the Gospels and to Christ, does not need any specific applause form the media".

He also recalled that during the canonization of the late Pope, Pope Francis identified him as the "Pope of the Family".

The Archbishop stated that there are voices that have appeared that consider Pope John Paul II and his Apostolic Exhortation Familiaris Consortio, "ancient history".

"We must therefore keep repeating, that what the Church has proclaimed for centuries, and continues to carry on through new documents, is very important, the more we pay attention to the legacy of of John Paul the more we pay attention to the Gospel of the Family. In the proclamation of the Gospel  may the family stand in first place".

Archbishop Gadecki: "The churches in Germany are empty. Perhaps that is why the Cardinals are proposing Communion for the Remarried"?

On October 27, at a press conference in Poland, given by His Grace, Stanislaw Gadecki, President of the Polish Episcopal Conference, the following should be noted:

The main agitating force for Communion for the divorced and civilly remarried are German Cardinals and bishops.

"It is certain that the German Cardinals are the driving engine. For twenty years, Cardinal Kasper has raised this issue. Cardinal Marx has also attached himself to this. Two thirds of the German episcopate are on their side".

According to the Archbishop, when the vote was taken at the synod, the Germans were joined by the South Americans.

He added the Pope "avoided taking a position on either the old or new solution, he just express trust that the Holy Spirit will not leave the Church".
