The USA and Antonio Spadaro: why is the reaction so Americanist?

The blasphemous attempt to unite Christ with Freemasonry

The world has heard enough of the so-called "rights of man." Let it hear something of the rights of God.
Leo XIII, Tametsi

The moment Fr. Antonio Spadaro S.J., and La Civilta Cattolica published, there was a response from Catholics in the United States that was - and remains - quiet frankly, very disappointing.

The reaction was liberal Catholicism: Americanist. Very Americanist. From ALL sides.

Many voices joined in one chorus: from the "traditionalist" blog, Rorate Celi,  to prominent Beltway neo-cons such as George Weigel and the disgraced ex-priest Thomas Williams, the response was the same: Our Lord Jesus Christ will not rule over the United States of America. The "First Amendment", religious liberty, separation of Church and state takes priority over the Gospels. Her shall not reign!

Fr. Raymond de Souza, (a Canadian priest) even got involved, trying to come to the rescue of his neo-con friends. He rephrased the Americanist argument in this way, writing in the Knights of Columbus', neo-modernist, Crux

Who are “those who profess to be Catholic” who “dream of a theocratic type of state”? What journals expound their thoughts? In what faculties do they teach? What books have they written? What movements does their thought animate? None of that exists.

Fr. de Souza being an intelligent man must have read from the writings of Popes from Pius VI onwards. Yet, he is silent about these popes. Why? Let us explore perhaps the reason.

One voice of the papal voices who a priori strongly disagreed with Fr. de Souza, and, as it were drew together all the prior papal teachings regarding the poison of liberalism was Pope Leo XIII. The holy pope in Tametsi wrote:

"Therefore the law of Christ ought to prevail in human society and be the guide and teacher of public as well as of private life. Since this is so by divine decree, and no man may with impunity contravene it, it is an evil thing for the common weal wherever Christianity does not hold the place that belongs to it. When Jesus Christ is absent, human reason fails, being bereft of its chief protection and light, and the very end is lost sight of, for which, under God's providence, human society has been built up".
Or, from Libertas:
"... civil society must acknowledge God as its Founder....justice therefore forbids, and reason itself forbids, the State to be godless; or to adopt a line of action which would end in godlessness - namely, to treat the various religions (as they call them) alike, and to bestow upon them promiscuously equal rights and privileges".
However, Leo XIII and other inconvenient papal teachings have long been forgotten by the Beltway establishment Catholics within "traditionalism" and "conservatism" in the United States.  Historically, from day one, even as the ink was drying on the Masonic US Constitution, the bishops were performing mental cartwheels to try to prove the impossible, that Catholicism is compatible with the masonic philosophical foundations of the United States.

Rather than address freemasonry's perverse influence, Fr. de Souza,  continues his article: "But there is Michel Voris and his Church Militant site."

Sadly, Fr. de Sousa is correct. I may be wrong, but there is one voice in the wilderness in all of this: the much maligned and mocked, Michael Voris. Michael is the only prominent Catholic in America who has the Catholic "guts" to stand up and literally say the truth: the separation of church and state is garbage and totally un-Catholic.

Raymond de Sousa then proceeds himself to mock Michel Voris:
Perhaps Michael Voris is successful, but only a vast ignorance of the American Catholic scene would consider Church Militant to be influential, let alone representative. Voris has been forbidden to use the name “Catholic” in his ventures, and just last week was asked to leave the Convocation of Catholic Leaders in Orlando, American Catholicism’s largest such recent gathering.
What de Sousa fails to mention is that the USCCB actually had signs up in the Orlando, Florida hotel (where they were hoding another meeting), identifying Michael Voris and Christine Niles, and that these two, if seen, were to be physically removed from the building. Such is the hatred and fear of Church Militant by the very wealthy, powerful Beltway, modernist Catholic establishment. An establishment that "conservative" de Sousa, happily aligns with.

One might begin to ask, just what role do the extremely wealthy Knights of Columbus play in all of this? Well, for starters Carl Anderson too is another very high tax-bracket neo-con Beltway Catholic. There is your answer.

Is God writing straight with crooked lines by using the psychologically ill Pope Francis and the gang who control him to actually expose the elite Beltway establishment whose idea of Catholicism is some revival of 50s Catholicism? All lace, incense, elaborate liturgies, beautiful buildings interwoven with religious liberty, pluralism, the "First Amendment". In other words, pure unadulterated Americanism. These people simply do not realize that compromising with Freemasonry is destroying the Catholic Church.

The Americanist "traditionalists" and "conservatives" may cheer on Poland from the sidelines when the Polish Sejm declared Jesus Christ as King of Poland, but King of the United States? The contradiction is riveting. Opposing Freemasonry is a question of truth, not geography, nor "my country, right or wrong".

The "First Amendment", pluralism, religious liberty - all sacred cows of Freemasonry must remain. "Beltway Catholicism" reigns supreme. Be it "traditional", "conservative", or "liberal". There is absolute unity in supporting, defending the un-Catholic and masonically inspired principle of religious liberty.

However, think again dear friends. Everything must always be seen through the eyes of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not come to earth, to suffer, to die an agonizing death on the Cross for religious liberty, for pluralism, for the Catholic Church to be placed "ignominiously on the same level as false religions and even Jewish perfidy" (Pius VII).

No masonic republic can claim to be an authentic nation -- the "United" States, Germany, Italy, France, the "United" Kingdom, the old Soviet "Union" -- may contain the remains or dregs of nations. However, a nation can only be granted legitimacy by Our Lord and God.
