I think we can all be proud of ourselves. A job well done. We have "gone home and stayed home", to quote the evil puppet who is masquerading as  "Prime Minister" of Canada. It just brings a warm, happy feeling to know that our most vulnerable and frail elderly fellow citizens have been so lovingly protected and saved.

Oh, did I forget? Happy Mother's Day everybody

Dear friends, please keep our beloved and most vulnerable, elderly population and their greatly suffering family members in your prayers this Mother's Day. They have been betrayed. By pompous know-all asses otherwise known as "politicians", their parastic sidekicks the "bureaucrats", and the abusive greedy fiends who run for-profit nursing homes. But they have also been enabled: by those who constitute Canada's "geriatric mafia", who have known for years of the impending disaster of Canada's dirty, little secret, but done nothing. There are a few outstanding exceptions to this horror scene: but believe me, they are exceptions.

So once again dear friends, please say a prayer for those who have died abandoned, alone.

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. Amen

VE over Europe: 75 years ago today

Welsh celebrations for Victory in Europe

A Psalm for Catholic Bloggers

Art thou impatient, friend, when the wicked thrive; dost thou envy the lot of evil-doers?

They will soon fade like the grass, like the green leaf wither away.

Be content to trust in the Lord and do good; live on thy land, and take thy ease,

all thy longing fixed in the Lord; so he will give thee what thy heart desires.

Commit thy life to the Lord, and trust in him; he will prosper thee,

making thy honesty clear as the day, the justice of thy cause bright as the sun at noon.

Dumb and patient, to the Lord’s mercy look thou, never fretting over the man that has his own way, and thrives by villainy.

End thy complaints, forgo displeasure, do not fret thyself into an evil mood;

the evil-minded will be dispossessed, and patient souls, that wait for the Lord, succeed them.

Forbear yet a little, and the sinner will be seen no more; thou wilt search in vain to find him,

while patient souls are the land’s heirs, enjoying great peace....

(Psalm 37)

Pope denounces Christians who lead sinful, greedy lives due to ignorance of the Christian Faith

Speaking about the lack of catechesis, the Pope addressed the following words in April. Justice and truth demands we study his words carefully and give assent. I for one, cannot see any defect in his words. Hatred, dishonesty, corruption in business are indeed great evils, as are immoral thoughts, so rightly spoken of by the Pope. Let us continue to pray for the Pope.
In consequence of this ignorance, they do not consider it a crime to excite and nourish hatred against their neighbor, to enter into most unjust contracts, to do business in dishonest fashion, to hold the funds of others at an exorbitant interest rate, and to commit other iniquities no less reprehensible. They are, moreover, ignorant of the law of Christ which not only condemns immoral actions but also forbids deliberate immoral thoughts and desires...thereby multiplying their sins above the number of the hairs of the head.
These persons are found, we deem it necessary to repeat, not merely among the poor of the people...but also among those in the higher walks of life. The immense multitude of the non-owning workers on the one hand and the enormous riches of certain very wealthy men on the other establish an unanswerable argument that the riches which are so abundantly produced in our age of "industrialism," as it is called, are not rightly distributed and equitably made available to the various classes of the people.
Therefore, with all our strength and effort we must strive that at least in the future the abundant fruits of production will accrue equitably to those who are rich and will be distributed in ample sufficiency among the workers.

Lessons from the English Martyrs

Today is the feast of the English and Welsh Martyrs, proto-martyrs of the English Reformation.

Let us remember them and their "keen awareness of the total truth."

The Forty Martyrs of England and Wales, pray for us.

Fr Robert Pasley: "OPEN THE CHURCHES"

Fr. Robert Pasley, the Pastor of Mater Ecclesiae Parish in the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey, addressed the issue of the continued closure of our Catholic Churches. After encouraging Catholics to petition the authorities to reopen churches (noting that a court case is being brought against the ongoing closures by a priest of the Society of St. Pius X), Fr. Pasley touched upon the pagan mindset that is oblivious, and even consumed with hatred towards God and Christ:

I've noticed when they talk about setting things back to normal after this. And you listen to them: we have to get the businesses under way, we've got to do this for the economy, we've got to set this back in place.

No one ever mentions we have to open the churches. No one. And why?

Because modernists, secularists, those who hate God: one of the best ways to kill something isn't to attack it front on.

It is just to completely ignore it as if it doesn't exist. That's the situation we're in. There are many out there who don't even give us a thought; couldn't care in the least. And we can't be influenced by that.

We can't let ourselves as a Church and as a People of God be marginalized, and pushed aside, as if we don't exist. As if there's nothing there. There's nothing more important for us in our society!

And maybe that is why we are going through the horrors that we are: because too many people have pushed the most important things aside, and don't think about them anymore. No we must be strong!

"Essential Services" in a Pagan Society - Abortion Mills are open but Churches and Catholic Cemeteries Closed

Reality in Canada under Medical Martial Law

By the way are you aware that visiting Cemeteries are also deemed "unessential". Yes, praying in an aerobic environment is very dangerous and you definitely should NOT be visiting cemeteries! A lady I know was turned away by police, who had set up a road block at the entrance of Assumption Cemetery. She had intended to pray by the graveside of her daughter who died last year. The closing of cemeteries (as with churches) for private prayer is diabolical.

The "Church of the Accompaniment" is revealed as the "Church of the "Abandonment"

After this is over, there will be a lot of Catholics who will be deeply ashamed of themselves for being so easily fooled into hysteria, fear, and falling such easy prey to disinformation and propaganda.

Everyday for Life, Canada carries a number of outstanding posts (here, here and here) on the moral and economic implications of this ongoing, lockdown that has been seized by the usual suspects to politicize the pandemic now a "plan-demic". Our vulnerable and elderly have not been protected (no surprise given the disastrous state of LTC facilities. Ontario's statistics indicate that over 70% of deaths are in LTC).
