Traditionis Custodes: A slap in the face to the Eastern Orthodox

Another effect of Francis' cruel and evil moto proprio, Traditionis custodes is that it is a direct slap across the face of our separated brothers, the Eastern Orthodox Churches. But I believe that this grave insult could not be by mistake. There is no way that the Roman churchmen could be unaware of the negative effect this edict will have on the Orthodox. I believe the churchmen have made a calculated gamble in declaring their support for the western globalists and attempting to suppress the Mass is a sign of their commitment to the globalist enterprise. The past year has shown that the men who have years ago seized control of the administrative levers of power in the Catholic Church are agents of these same degenerate, evil western powers.

We know that Pope Benedict's Summorum pontificum was welcomed by the Orthodox. Alexi II, Patriarch of Moscow stated: "the recover and valuing of the ancient liturgical tradition is a fact that we greet positively". He added, "we hold very strongly to tradition. Without the faithful guardianship of liturgical tradition, the Russian Orthodox Church would not have been able to resist the period of persecution".

Three points:

1. The churchmen, given they have been infiltrated by the worst elements of globalism, given they are rife with corruption and sexual debauchery - are undertaking an attack on the Mass to precipitate a complete breakdown of any last remnants Christian civilization. They fear a religious revival as is now happening in Russia.

2. The pope's arbitrary and tyrannical actions are no doubt a huge alarm bell for the Orthodox of how the Bishop of Rome is abusing his powers. Can we for a moment imagine popes prior to the Renaissance abuses, acting like vicious tyrants to such a degree to reduce bishops to errand boys and no longer apostles?

3. The papal attack on the ancient Roman Rite will set off alarm bells that Rome cannot be trusted. If the pope can turn so sadistically upon the faithful of his own Rite, what would stop him turning perhaps even more viciously (if it can be imagined) upon ancient Divine Liturgies? Any man who would destroy the ancient Roman Rite, you know he would destroy the ancient eastern Divine Liturgies.

Watch the following: just who is keeping Tradition?

In conclusion, the Romans are well aware of the deleterious effect this moto proprio will have upon relations with the Eastern Orthodox. They welcome this bad break for the Eastern Orthodox have been the only voices opposing western debauchery and immorality promoted by the godless, western globalists. Indeed, we just saw a demonstration this past June with international finance and capital glorifying sexual depravity, even pushing pedophilia.

But God is writing straight again with crooked lines. Just as He has decided that the eastern brethren are not to be handed over to the Romans to be spiritually tortured, God is giving Catholics spiritual strength to stand with their Mother, to remain by her beside, as these vile men attempt to poison Her on her (so they hope) Her death bed. Dear friends, stay with the Church!! She needs YOU more than ever! You will provide that true Catholic witness to our separated brothers, and that, in God's good time, they shall return to the bosom of Holy Mother Church.

I learned years ago that the Uniate Catholic Churches and the Orthodox support and encourage adultery and divorce and all the attending crimes, so all "old" churches are, intentionally, destructive of marriage. All are DISGUSTINGLY ANTI-GOSPEL. SORRY, IT US JUST THE TRUTH. JESUS WANTS STANDERS TO RUN HIS ONLY CHURCH, NOT THE CLERGY. NOT THESE DAYS.

Dear Anonymous,

I am deeply sorry that you have been betrayed by your spouse. May God reward you for your fidelity to His truth about the indissolubility of marriage.

Yes, you are correct, the eastern Orthodox unfortunately do adhere to the Jewish error of permitting "divorce" for adultery and then "remarriage". The Unitates under Rome have to maintain the true Catholic discipline and doctrinal practice. Are annulments abused in the east? I would hope less so than amongst the Latins. I do know that modernism has also been making headway in infiltrating the Uniates.

The point of my post was a modest one: that the Orthodox (though in error on a number of points) nonetheless are offering far, far more resistance to the spread of godlessness than the men who currently control levers of control in the Church.
