OECTA: "Catholic" teachers union openly promoting the Toronto "Gay Pride Parade"



The excellent blog, "Everyday for Life Canada" carries the latest outrage from the militant union "OECTA" (Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association) that claims to reflect Catholic teaching. 

The truth is, OECTA, is a militant, secular union that has for years been openly promoting dissent from Catholic morals (e.g. supporting abortion). In more recent years, OECTA's stridency has increased, as the union no longer makes any pretense of being Catholic. A cursory review of twitter accounts run by various regions, and various leading OECTA unionists shows support for both homosexuality and abortion.  

From Everyday for Life Canada: 

The elementary and high school Catholic teachers in Toronto have been sent an email from their union leaders inviting them to "Come Celebrate Toronto Pride". The message encourages teachers to walk in solidarity with their union representatives on June 25, 2018.
