Jacques Cartier and Canada's Catholic Heritage

This day, in 1534, Jacques Cartier landed at the estuary of a great river. It was the Feast of St. Lawrence, and so the great river, The St. Lawrence was born.

Happy Feast Day to all, please say a prayer for the repose of the soul of the daring and intrepid explorer, Jacques Cartier.

And please say a prayer for the re-conversion of Quebec and Canada, that once again, in "La Belle Province", the Faith may be a beacon of Truth in North America.

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
