Bishop Athanasius Schneider on the Second Vatican Council

His Excellency, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, is one of the more thoughtful, sober and eminent thinkers in the Catholic Church today. The interview, conducted by Michael Voris, is well worth viewing, or re-viewing. The Catholic Church is presently undergoing a shattering crisis, perhaps nearly as grave as the Arian crisis (c.f. Ratzinger, Salt of the Earth); the bishops offers a profound reflection of the Council, devoid of the various hysteria and deformations of what the Council was and was not.

The Bishop Athanasius Schneider interview with Michael Voris may be seen here.

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
