We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.

ReplyDeleteRoman Catholic living in Canada, I have heard of Fr. Despard and upon conversations with my family in Scotland, he is truly an honest and devoted Catholic Priest. His book "PRIESTHOOD IN CRISIS" is a true reflection of what is happening today in the Catholic Church. This man has had the courage to speak out, as I am sure Pope Francis would agree, however, I have heard there is speculation from the hierachy in the Motherwell Diocese, namely St. John Oglivie Church, contemplating removing him from his vocation. If this is true, how very sad that he is being punished as a whistle blower for telling the truth, and the perpetrators go "Scot free." Are they trying, once again, to sweep these heinous wrongdoings under the carpet? Thank you for reading my comments.
