Merry Christmas to all of our readers!

Christmas is almost here - that wonderful night when the Christ Child was born. It is amazing to think of how much this event was anticipated by the Old Testament and the angels, the latter of whom, if I may be permitted to use my imagination, waited with bated breath for that moment of His Birth.

With that in mind, we here at Toronto Catholic Witness wish all of our readers a Merry Christmas. 2021 has had its ups and downs, to be sure, but the Christ Child's birth is a tender reminder that hope springs eternal - no matter if it is in season or out of season.

Merry Christmas - and may the hope of the Christ Child remain in your hearts always.

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
