Polonia Christiana presents Bishop Athanasisus Schneider explaining the difference between true and false discernment, within the context of a discussion on Amoris Laetitia.
The bishop also addresses the grave responsibility of priests - and especially the Pope - in (Bishop Schneider stresses) seemingly allowing a false discernment. Bishop Schneider notes that the Pope has done "nothing to prevent this" and allows the teaching and interpretation of Amoris Laetitia to go in the direction of false discernment.

Great to hear from Bishop Schneider again. If only we had more like him. The necessity for the formal correction to be made immediately is overwhelming & urgent.
ReplyDeleteThrough this Holy Bishop we know that God has not abandoned us. God Bless Bishop Schneider, he is truly a gentle man of God.
ReplyDeleteAthanasius is my confirmation saint. Good to see the Bishop living up to the high bar of the Patron Saint of Orthodoxy! Thanks

I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a Divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul. … I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the true Faith of the Church, reject Her ornaments and make Her feel remorse for Her historical past.A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, 'Where have they taken Him?'
— Cardinal Eugenio Pacelli (the future Pope Pius XII)
The proposition that the commandments of God are impossible to observe even for a man who is justified and established in grace was solemnly condemned by the Council of Trent, but Amoris Laetitia seems to say that it is not always possible — or even advisable — to follow the moral law.
PRAY for this good Bishop!! My fear is that they are already in the planning stages of SILENCING him. He absolutely needs the protection that our prayers and sacrifice can offer.
