Bishop Richard Williamson consecrates a second bishop on March 19, 2016, continuing his resistance against the SSPX

Yesterday, on the Feast of St. Joseph, Bishop Richard Williamson, consecrated Fr. Thomas Aquinas the second bishop of the "resistance" without a papal mandate.  Williamson, expelled from the Society of St. Pius X, has been an open critic of the Society's leadership, especially Bishop Bernard Fellay.

  1. I have a really difficult time holding a negative view on Bishop Willamson...never has there been such chaos in the Catholic Church and the secular world......since VII it's been insanity. I sincerely pray for all Traditional Catholics and By Gods Grace and Mercy these divisions will be healed. Our Lady Of Fatima Ora Pro Nobis

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
