Narrated Anas:
The Prophet set out for Khaibar and reached it at night. He used not to attack if he reached the people at night, till the day broke. So, when the day dawned, the Jews came out with their bags and spades. When they saw the Prophet; they said, "Muhammad and his army!" The Prophet said, Allahu--Akbar! (Allah is Greater) and Khaibar is ruined, for whenever we approach a nation (i.e. enemy to fight) then it will be a miserable morning for those who have been warned."
The "Prophet's" attack on the Jews of Khaibar, and their defeat was a major setback for civilization. The Arab warlord would establish the precedent on how to deal with non-Mohommedans; we have been living with the results ever since. Mohommed's cunning and deceitful treatment of the Jews of Khaibar, and then the local Christians, led to the purge from the Arab peninsula of all non-Mohommedans; eventually leading to the persecution of Christians on a mass scale, and the conquest of Christian lands by the marauding nomads of the desert. Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and so on - these are all part of the Christian heartland, invaded by foreigners carrying a false religion.
The phrase, "Allahu Akbar" is correctly translated as "Allah is the greater god". From a Molsem perspective, "Allah" is the proper name of the Islamic deity. According to the Hadith, cited above, it originated with Mohommed himself as he marched on Khaibar. It has been used by Moslems ever since as a battle cry.
The other day, Thomas Rosica CSB, wrote on his blog at Salt and Light (and re-published in the ultra-modernist, Jesuit run, America) that "Allahu Akbar" is not a war cry, never a call to violence and destruction. No, Fr. Rosica, the Takbir has a very, very long history of being a battle cry, a call to violence and destruction. I shall not belabour the point, but offer readers one sad example. In 2004, Islamists were shouting the said battle cry as a sadist was beheading Nick Berg (please do not forget to pray for his soul).
Wrong Fr. Rosica. Wrong!! The above Hadith does not match with your claims. This dog won't hunt.
