While the Holy See Press Office is continuing its subversion by subtly and not-so-subtly promoting the Adulterist and Homosexualist positions, Pope Francis continues to strongly support Gerhard Cardinal Muller, who himself denounced the adulterists and homosexualists; indeed, referring to the former as promoters of a "serious Christological heresy".
Though there will be great efforts over the next few months to "strong arm" the Pope into endorsing "pastoral practice" and leaving "doctrine" untouched, the Holy Spirit will not permit these adulterists and homosexualists to succeed. Ultimately, they will have to decide for themselves: repent and stay within the bosom of the Church, or leave in schism and heresy.
The tactic employed by the innovators was openly articulated by dissent theologian and homosexualist supporter Richard Gaillardetz, in the National Catholic Reporter on September 25, 2013, (in an article entitled: "Francis wishes to release Vatican II's bold vision from captivity"):
"Will this pope rewrite controversial church doctrines? No, but that isn't how doctrine changes. Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge such that particular doctrinal formulations no longer mediate the saving message of God's transforming love. Doctrine changes when the church has leaders and teachers who are not afraid to take note of new contexts and emerging insights".
Having set out the modus operandi (notice the use of "controversial" - is this what opposing sin has now been reduced to?) of the dissenters for the Adulterist and Homosexualist positions, Gaillardetz then draws the Pope falsely into his heretical thesis:
"It changes when the church has pastors who do what Francis has been insisting on for the last six months: Leave the security of your chanceries, rectories, parish offices and episcopal residences. Set aside the "small-minded rules" that keep you locked up and shielded from the world. Go meet the people where they are".
The news for these dissenters is that they, and their repugnant heresies will fail utterly, notwithstanding the neo-modernist (immanentist and historicist) rubbish proposed by Gaillardetz, and condemned by the First Vatican Council (c.f. Session 3, Canon IV, iii) and Pius X in Pascendi.
From the Holy Father just this past January (and buried by the Holy See Press Office):
Dear Brothers in the Episcopate,
On the occasion of the meeting of the Presidents of Doctrinal Commissions of the Episcopal Conferences of Europe and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in Esztergom, in the religious heart of Hungary on 13-15 January 2015, I would like to send you my cordial greeting.
I thank Cardinal Gerhard Müller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, for this opportune initiative, which aims to improve local Episcopates, and in particular the Doctrinal Commission, who have the responsibility for the unity and integrity of the faith, as well as the transmission of the faith to younger generations. As I wrote in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, taking up the teaching of the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium of the Second Vatican Council, “episcopal conferences are in a position ‘to contribute in many and fruitful ways to the concrete realization of the collegial spirit’” (n. 32). I hope that your encounter will contribute to addressing, in a spirit of collegiality, the several doctrinal and pastoral difficulties which the European continent is facing, with the aim of arousing in the faithful missionary zeal and greater openness to the transcendent dimension of life, without which Europe risks losing the “humanistic spirit” which it loves and defends (cf. Address to the European Parliament, 25 November 2014).
In entrusting your work to the maternal intercession of the Virgin Mary, the model for all believers, I give you my heartfelt blessing.
From the Vatican, 9 January 2015.
FRANCIS

ReplyDeleteThat is great headline. I sure hope that it turns out to be true. Since Francis has proven himself to be a shape shifting opportunist, I will certainly wait and see.
