Fragments of a Conversation

Freyr: I found this really neat link over at (The Blog Which Must Not Be Named) and it led to a text generator called The Postmodernism Generator. It generates complete essays.
Barona: Well, what does this have to do with us?
Freyr: You know how you are always worried about keeping up with new blog entries and such. We could program one of these text generators as a Catholic Blog Generator and it would post a new blog entry every day based on parameters you enter.
Barona: Sounds interesting... but it would never work.
Freyr: Why not?
Barona: I think somebody's already doing that....

  1. I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! To think I would find such blatant troll bait on a respectable blog!

  3. I'm afraid to click on the link out of fear that I would only end up feeding the bear.

  4. By the way... "professional Catholic" is a slur usually reserved for people we don't like because it implies that their faith is less than sincere. Perhaps you can find some other way to describe these Catholic media personalities?

  5. how about a self-described theologian who is out for a money ticket?

  6. How else would you describe them? I thought "professional Catholics" was rather gentle.

What would you suggest since there is little that I can say or write that does not meet with your approval.

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
