I wish to extend to the Very Rev. Fr. Jonathan Robinson our prayerful best wishes on his celebration of 50 years of receiving the Sacrament of Holy Orders. Fr. Robinson, the Superior of the Toronto Oratory, has dedicated his priestly life to the establishment and building up of St. Philip's Seminary in Toronto. St. Philip's seminary not only has provided for the Archdiocese of Toronto, and further into southern Ontario; but also the United Kingdom, the United States and the Caribbean.
Today, on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, (and Mother's Day - ah, how precious and sacred the duty of being a Catholic Mother!) - Fr. Robinson celebrated a Solemn High Mass according to the Usus Antiquior at St. Vincent de Paul church, nestled in the lovely High Park area of Toronto. Sadly, due to an illness in the family, I was unable to attend (and our attachment goes back to my grandfather at the Brompton Oratory) , but, from friends I have heard that the Mass was indeed beautiful.

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
