German "Katolisches" reporting positive Rome-SSPX reconciliation moves
The German Catholic website Katolisches is reporting on positive statements by German District Superior, Fr. Franz Schmidberger and SSPX assistant to Bishop Fellay, Fr. Niklaus Pfluger. Both priests speak in a positive manner suggesting a canonical reconciliation between Rome and Econe. The suggestions of a "agree to disagree" seem to be moving towards an acceptance of criticism of a pastoral Council that had limited "modest aims" (to quote then Cardinal Ratzinger).

We believe in a good argument. That means NO ad hominem attacks. This also includes Pope Francis. Further, referring to him by any other name, may or may not indicate a schismatic attitude, and given the confusion in the Church your comment will NOT be published. Comments are those of the commentators and not those of this blog. You may use a pseudonym... we do... Behave like a guest in our living room and you will be fine.
Rorate caeli is carrying some further details - with a translation - of the news we reported yesterday.
