Cardinal Collins breaks his silence on the recent Catechism incident with the TCDSB

In a rare move, Cardinal Thomas Collins has broken his usual silence and issued a statement regarding the recent incident involving the Catechism and the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB).

Despite his many faults with respect to this matter over the past year (as TCW has written), Cardinal Collins' actions here are to be commended. He has finally pulled up the Trustees of the TCDSB up to task. Whether or not they take him up on his suggestions and spiritual observations remains to be seen.
