What doth it profit a man to attend Latin Masses, but not live like the Good Samaritan?

What are you reading this Lent?

It has become a good custom among literate Catholics to take up some good spiritual reading during Lent. While it should be done year-round, Lent's especially penitential quality has many reaching for books about the Cross.

So, what are you reading this Lent?

If you are still looking for a good book to read, I recommend the Bishop Fulton Sheen anthology entitled The Cries of Jesus from the Cross. It was compiled by Al Smith, known to us here at Toronto Catholic Witness. It comes highly recommended, and can be easily be found on Amazon or through the Sophia Institute.

Mr. Smith has generously compiled a reading schedule to get through the book one bit at a time during the upcoming season. I strongly urge you - if you are purchasing the book - to adhere to the schedule.

May we all have a blessed Lent!
