Lino Rulli: is this "guy" really "Catholic"?

Lino Rulli, the so-called "Catholic Guy" has a very interesting endorser of his book, "Sinner".  The endorser is none other than Gary Dell' Abate, the executive producer for the Howard Stern Show.

The "Catholic Guy" also has another interesting endorser: Timothy Cardinal Dolan. According to Rulli's blog he is the: "... Personal Media Advisor to Cardinal Timothy Dolan (named by TIME Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world)".

Lino Rulli, the "Media Advisor" to Cardinal Dolan
How can Catholics take seriously churchmen who constantly pander to the secular culture. How did Gary Dell'Abate know about Rulli's book? Why would anyone associated with the Howard Stern Show be interested in the "Catholic Channel"? Did the media department at Sirius XM arrange this "endorsement"? Did Sirius XM elicit an "endorsement" from Dolan? Something is not kosher in Brooklyn.

Does any of this matter to most Catholics? I wish that it did, but I remember reading about significant disorder going on in the New York diocese, and yet, nothing has changed. I definitely remember homosexuals being embraced in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and pro-life groups not being allowed to march, and yet, nothing has changed in New York, things seem to be going on, just as before.
There are no consequences of any kind, none that matter anyway, so why should these horrible "progressives" change one iota of what they do. This is just to their liking, thank you.

I'll be honest, I don't "get" Lino Rulli. I never have. Is EVERYTHING always funny to him? Seriously, he can't stop laughing. Is his show a comedy show with Catholic themes, or a Catholic show with some comedy? Don't get me wrong, I like laughing and some lightheartedness as much as anyone, but really, does every topic on a so-called Catholic show have to include joking and laughing? I seriously don't get it. And I don't get Lino Rulli.
