Readers should note that Thomas Rosica CSB, the other day claimed that "Allahu Akbar" was "never a call to violence and destruction". Each and every day, as Mohommedan terrorists strike, this fantasy is exposed. As I write Mohommedans attacked a hotel in Mali shouting "Allahu Akbar" and bringing violence and destruction. People have been killed, the terrorists are still holding hostages. Yet, the ecumenical fantasy lives on.
A writer to the combox of the neo-modernist, America magazine, where Fr. Rosica's claim was published, also raised another concern about the article: "And, you only mention the ISIS attacks in Paris, not the ones in Lebanon and Kenya. Are the Lebanese people and the Kenyan people not equal victims of ISIS in the last week"?
The Roman authorities are caught up in an ecumenical fantasy, a dream. This dream is, quite naturally, nicer than reality. Sadly though, reality has a way of inexorably destroying the dream. We already have brutal violence on the streets of Canada, as everyday unborn children are butchered in their mother's wombs without virtually a peep from churchmen; it is only just that a very angry God will allow Islamic terror to come to Canada as a scourge. Just as He is allowing Islam to scourge apostate Europe. Friends, be prepared, not deluded, not living in dreams of "dialogue". There is no dialogue when a knife is at your throat.
From The Guardian:
A Malian army commander said the gunmen who stormed the Radisson Blu hotel shouted “Allahu Akbar” before shooting at guards and taking hostages.
Some hostages, including those able to recite verses of the Qur’an, were later released, security sources told Reuters.
A security source told AFP the gunmen were jihadis and entered the hotel compound in a car that had diplomatic plates. “It’s all happening on the seventh floor, jihadists are firing in the corridor,” the source said.
