A History of the Homosexual Takeover of the Dominican Order

How many know that the Dominican Order was infiltrated by homosexuals in the 1950s, well before the Second Vatican Council? How many are aware that by the late 1960s, these homosexuals had taken over entire seminaries.

It is Toronto Catholic Witness' honour to present to our readers the following lecture on the history of the homosexual takeover of the Dominicans by the great, prophetic Fr. John O'Connor.

Fr. O'Connor was that voice in the wilderness, who, decades ago warned us about homosexual infiltration in the Church [warning: graphic content. Not suitable for children].

As Fr. O' Connor points out in the video, Donald J Goergen O.P., expelled for homosexual activity from St. Bernard's Seminary in 1969, was quickly taken into a Dominican seminary and appointed professor, though he was not even ordained. Such was the power of the homosexuals who already controlled the Dominican seminary.

Goergen eventually went on to be elected superior of the Mid-West Province in the mid 80s, despite opposition from Fr. O'Connor and another Dominican. The two priests warned the Dominicans they cannot elect a man who had been expelled for homosexual activity, and who had spent years promoting homosexuality and heresy. To no avail. Goergen was elected, reflecting massive support for homosexuality.

Not taking Goergen's election lying down, Fr. John O'Connor continued the fight against him and other militant homosexuals in the Order. Goergen's response was to suspend Fr. O'Connor and eventually expel him.

Fr. O' Connor's appeal to Rome failed, because too many homosexuals in the Vatican Curia were backing up Goergen. Fr. O' Connor once said that he was honoured to be expelled, as the Order he had joined no longer existed.

Fr. O' Connor also brought to light, in his many talks, Goergen's vicious, heretical book, "The Sexual Celibate" (that also denied the Blessed Mother's virginity), which promoted "healthy homosexuality". A book, wherein, Georgen stated that he was "a man with a feminine dimension".

Goergen wrote in support of homosexual activity:
“Environment can give strength to the homosexual dimension of the personality by bringing together members of the same sex … to the exclusion of the other sex. There is no reason to fool ourselves about this. Celibate people are sexual beings like everyone else. When affectionate and genital feelings enter homosexual friendship, one should recognize and accept their presence. This does not mean the relationship is unhealthy.”
Friends, understand what Homo-Dominican Goergen is saying here: not only is sodomy good, but that an all male environment can "give strength to the homosexual dimension..." We now see why these homosexuals congregate especially in religious Orders, such as the Dominicans and the Franciscans. Precisely because these larger all male environments encourage, embolden, and protect homosexuals and homosexual activity

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying here, but it is a known fact that military, boy scouts and religious have to be constantly vigilant to not admit and expel sodomites. If they don't forbid this activity, the sodomites take over as in Genesis 19 and Judges 19.

Not all Franciscans. Look to the ones who are persecuted and you will see the ones who are not corrupted.

You write, "It is Toronto Catholic Witness' honour to present to our readers the following lecture on the history of the homosexual takeover of the Dominicans by the great, prophetic Fr. John O'Connor."

As evidence for this assertion you present material relating to the possible infiltration of one province, and thereby tar Dominicans world-wide with the same brush, and you do this with materials that are decades old.

We happen to belong to a Dominican parish in Portland, Oregon and have seen over the years many good Dominicans come through, all of them doctrinally solid and apostolically engaged, none of them who have said anything about or supported in any way the perversion you have tarred them with. Instead, there is a constant push for holiness of life, particularly by frequenting the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion, leading a more ascetic life, etc... You owe these men an apology.

While you are endeavoring to document the sins of religious, take care that you yourself do not become guilty of calumny.

Lee,

Certainly there are holy Dominicans. To these always an apology must be offered. Firstly, the apology should come from the homosexual infiltrators themselves/ Sadly, the situation is worse, not better. I reported a few months ago on how homosexualist Dominicans of an international stature maintain positions of authority. Though there certainly pockets of orthodoxy amongst Dominicans, the levers of power seem to be in the hands of homosexualists.

Sadly, Donald J Goergen is not yesterday's news. he continues to spread his lies and heresies.

Certainly the Dominicans have not been the ONLY order infiltrated! I do believe we have a Church wide problem most likely in EVERY order. The Jesuits haven't been infiltrated? Can anyone say Fr. James Martin??....and so many other high profile Jesuits. On the other hand it is correct that we have orthodox Jesuits in our midst as well. The Dominicans don't have a corner on homosexual activity. At this point in time this problem has pretty much permeated the entire Church of Christ.

Barona,

Your reply is a naked assertion. You have no idea whatever of the extent of the perversion you allude to, and say gratuitously there are "pockets" of orthodoxy amongst the Dominicans. If anything, it is far more likely that there are pockets of perverts, but there is simply no way of speaking authoritatively on this subject one way or the other. But will you set a guard at the door of your mouth, or command your fingers to stop calumniating? I doubt it very much, despite the act that you haven't the least idea what you are talking about. You suspect, that is all.

Lee,

You can presume if I speak gratuitously if you wish. However, as YOU claim, there is no way to speak authoritatively on this subject. As such, on your own admission, all your arguments and assertions collapse.

Let me give you some cold, hard facts.

Donald J Goergen, Timothy Radcliffe, Richard Woods, Gareth Moore, Adriano Oliva. Look these Dominicans up. Powerful, influential, all militant dissenters and advocates for homosexual perversion. That they were not thrown out of the Dominicans speaks volumes.
